Atleti are upgrading from Spanish Peter Crouch(Torres) to the Prem Title winners 2nd best player. That's good business, imo.

Important to note that Atleti potentially have a similar issue to Spurs this season. They've a new "Home" stadium & pitch etc to get used to.

Under normal circumstances its a massive ask to surpass Barca & Real, whose wage turnover is more than double theirs, through a 53m signing.

I only know one buddy, and he's the girls soccer coach at my old HS, that could hang in this thread when it comes to football knowledge.

People from the states that know a lot about football are rare, which is why I asked the question to begin with, most people just say "Soccer is gay and boring".

Yea, but you're in a country in which people care about football.
