Bale, R9, Zidane, Modric, Bellingham, Courtois, Guler, Rudiger, Militao, Kovacic, Isco, Coentrao, Di Maria, Kaka, Benzema, Alonso, Arbeloa, Robben, Pepe, Van Nistelrooy, Cannavaro, Beckham, Alaba and ofc everyone's favourite RM player Figo.
Abit longer list (players who did well after moving from a big European team*)
*a team who at the time was a regular sight in CL and in most cases fought for domestic titles and 2000 onwards.
And yeah alot of transfers that didnt work out (Hazard,Owen, Woodgate, Cassano, Drenthe, Huntelaar, Sahin, Theo Hernandez, Kepa)
Not saying its a good idea going to another country and starting fights or worse but you must be aware that in South America or some parts of it, they keep away fans on one side of the arena and home fans on another because it will be a brawl with anything used as flying weapons if they dont. Or that in Eastern Europe organized mass fights happen on regular basis between fan bases (mostly they do this in remote locations) but there has been cases in Poland/Germany where fans storm a train when they spot rival fans.
Di Maria while he put out Cristiano or Messi numbers (then again who does), he was good/great, Kaka had similar numbers to his best Milan season but sadly had to play in position not fully suited for him, Robben same deal as Di Maria, Cannavaro won 2 league titles in 3 years as a starter so while not as good as his WC and Ballon d'Or season still great.Being quite generous with "top players" and "maintained" there, mate.
Vitinha just finished 3rd in the Ballon d'Or so I was talking about truly great players. Half of the players in your list weren't at that level before coming to Madrid. And most people would consider Di Maria, Kaka, Robben, and Cannavaro's time disappointing. Not total flops but pretty disappointing.
No argument for Bale, R9, Zidane, Figo, and R7. Maybe RVN and Courtois as well.
As mentioned earlier in here british hooligans are not allowed to go to the country hosting a tournament WC or Euros. Atlest i think thats the case. Besides the english hooligans are mostly 50 now so those days are over.Definitely.
I was kinda picturing a situation where English fans are in a bar and they spot a group of American fans and the shit talking turns to violence. This has happened in a few Euros in the recent past.
Arsenal playing lights out with no injuries and top of the league, not much to improve on.
