Chin up pal, bloke on the talk radio said you don't have to sell this Summaaah

Brave to pick the team who won last year by 10 points and look like spending 400m to strengthen!!!!

I don't know, they could pull a Real and not win shit. Wasn't it it a couple of years ago that they won the league and the CL and then brought in Mbappe on top?

Then PSG failing to win the CL with Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi.

Seems like when teams go on crazy spending sprees, it doesn't work out for them. Pool should still be the favorites but not the overwhelming favs either.

Kinda agree, but of course they are gonna be big favourites.

Think it more depends on Salah and van Lesbian maintaining their form of last season than the new signings doing well.

Happened to United in 2001. We’d won 3 straight league titles then signed Veron and van Nistelrooy. Ended up 3rd that season.

Can easily see Arsenal and/or City giving them a real challenge. Tbh, actually thought they were better 4-5 years ago than last season. Big difference was City got 20 odd points less than they typically have been getting.

True, Van Dijk is 34 already and the rest of their defenders are solid but not outstanding. Clear drop off in quality from their attack.

Favorites for the league, yeah, but I wouldn't bet my house on it @Rawex

I'd be surprised if they win more than one trophy.

You mentioned Pool doing Real and not winning anything with Mbappe. Well yeah but Carvajal was out for a season, Lucas (a winger and legs were gone) and Valverde as rb (he was ok but better used higher up the pitch), Camavinga and Tchouameni playing as lb or cb often due to backline getting injuries left and right.
Despite that 4 points behind Barca, not a big difference.
Aslong Pool stays healthy for most part, i got them winning.
Also speaking Pool's defence dropping off after Van Dijk, not like City's defence was prime Maldini-Nesta-Stam-Cafu last season.
