Definitely looking like they were lucky to somehow get career seasons out of Salah and van Lesbian last season.

Both were very poor yesterday.

Can see why Liverpool were reluctant to give both new long term deals. You never know when they’re gonna snap.

Can’t really drop VvD, but you definitely can with Salah. Even Frimpong looked levels above him in the forward right position.

Similar to United and Bruno, tbh. Though he did save himself a 4/10 with that late assist.

On paper the next 10 games or so are pretty favourable. Probably gonna be season defining for us.

Still the hope of 4th still the possibility of 14th.

Yeah, the Salah decision now looks a big mistake, you can't bench someone on wages that high and he needs dropping.

Fucking shocked by yesterday - a solid performance and a win at Anfield, madness. Chuffed for Mbeumo getting another goal, Cunha grew into the game well too. The Scum are really struggling - Isak and Wirtz, 250m of new signings, invisible. Full-backs looked like dogshit, 100m right there.

Slot is starting to sound panicked as well, hopefully this downswing continues!

Looking at our next fixtures though I fully expect our inconsistency to continue.

Big Ange goners again, hahahah. Imagine being a Forest fan, so much positivity last season and within a couple of months you're being dragged through a relegation battle by Sean fucking Dyche!

Yeah, the Salah decision now looks a big mistake, you can't bench someone on wages that high and he needs dropping.

Remember thinking in summer ‘24 when Saudis offered 100m for him, thinking Pool were gonna be in a transitional and had no chance of winning the league…..no brainer to move him on.

Then he had one of the great Prem seasons at least the first 3 quarters of it.

Probably dangerous to write him off.

Was suggested that with AFCON in December and the WC in June, he was saving himself for those.

Bet clubs secretly hate that. They ain’t paying you 20m a year son.

Ugarte’s good shift is 7/10, that’s the problem. Should be a bench option at best next season.

Like his attitude, but he basically excels at nothing.

Obviously not close to a Keane or Carrick, but he’s not even close to a Butt or Fletcher either.

Hell, he might well be below Fred, Anderson and Cleverly for me.

Looks like Newcastle pulled Liverpool’s pants down with the isak fee £125m looks extortionate now too. Newcastle’s set up was perfect for him, now he looks like he can’t do anything.

Seems like City with Trafford and Donarumma.

Arsenal >Chelsea>City>>>>>>>>>>Pool.

Rivalries aside Arsenal seem like a fairly likable bunch of players. Not Arteta and 90% of the fans, saying that.

Though tbh, City winning never really bothers me. Don’t feel like a real club (even more so than the rest of us, anyway).

Sesko hasn’t set the world alight, certainly numbers wise, but shown enough I’m somewhat optimistic.

Gyokeres has been very disappointing, agreed. Kinda looks like a level below what Arsenal need.

Isak will be okay. He’s not a Kane, Lewa, Haaland, Mbappe, Weghorst level forward, but fully expect him to settle into a slight level below.
