Yeah, signing an inexperienced prospect like that on a short term loan, makes no sense.

Maybe…..or the Glazers left us in such a hole (well they’re still there, but you get the point) that they have their hands tied.

They’ve done a terrible job thus far, clearly, but I think Ineos at least have the intent of making us a winning team on the pitch as a priority, unlike the blood sucking Glazers.

All those years of overspending on transfer fees and, perhaps more so, wages is going to take us a good while to recover from, especially if these new financial restraints continue.

I heard it’s not just a case that we are close to breaking PSR, but also that we literally just don’t have money available even if we weren’t.

Probably should put all our eggs into the Europa basket at this point, and try and fluke a CL spot that way.

We really, really need him and Rashford to show some form for the next few months, tbh.

As far as I know, there’s no obligation to buy in either loan. Worst case is the both flop and end up back at United in the summer even more unsellable.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Rashford stays in Manchester, and commutes to Birmingham a couple of times a week, whilst still “enjoying his social time”.

Reckon he’ll continue to underwhelm…..probably thinks he’s better than Villa.
