And half guard is as neutral a position as any, IMO. So many good sweeps once you nail down arm drags and know how to create a bit of space.

Now that i can control better once i twirl out, omaplatas are better for me, i'm just keeping them tighter and not even banking on the shoulder lock, i'll grap the opposite lapel if i have to.
