Arm drags have been a focus the past couple weeks, funny you say that. I'm taking the back off them a lot, easier from half guard i've found. I thought it would be easier from closed guard, but i guess there's a lot of space still when you sit up. Less from half.
I've moved away from my omaplata attacks. i got discouraged from getting stacked and thrown off when i was cutting bad for a tournament, but now that i have like 15 more lbs on me i'm stronger there. Also learned some great ways to control w/o the belt since higher belts usually keep their hips away when they feel it coming. Been working that more, there are so many more attacks from there, plus the sweep obv.
Biggest thing i'm doing at blue over white is controlling the pants. Fuck man, i feel like such a dummy playing top so long and not controlling pants at all times
