@Arqueto
Steve Bruce: "Newcastle was a greatly run club under Mike Ashley. We never had a lot of money to spent, we would spend exactly what the club generated & that wasn't enough to be successful. It's like when I managed Sunderland, I said: "In 10 years, people will look back & think I did an alright job"

I watched the interview the other day bud, hilarious. The man is a straight-up liar and a shambles of a manager. He got called out for being lazy and not wanting to work and fired back with this rubbish <lmao>

He's a joke

Is it true that while as Newcastle manager he didnt bother (at times) having practice session and players had to do it themselves?

Yes mate, it was well known he wouldn't come out of the office to take training. The club had to hire Graham Jones as the first team coach because Bruce wasn't showing up to any of the training sessions.

We were in the drop zone, playing like crap, and had lost a bunch of games on the bounce. It was an international break, and some of the lads came in for extra training sessions to try and sort it out, and when they came in, Bruce was nowhere to be seen. He was on holiday in Spain :eek:

The man is a joke but he had his friends in the media at the time protecting him. They were saying he was doing a great job <lol><lol><lol>

How he has gotten so many managerial jobs is crazy. The man is a complete fraud and his record is horrendous. Him claiming to be a victim is hilarious; he got paid a fortune to do absolutely nothing and if we didn't get taken over when we did, we were down again, and there was no coming back with him in charge.
