Prediction: $50 bucks a month to get all UFC fight night events NOT PPVs

@Lycandroid
And therein lies your problem. You think your moral compass is the only correct one.

Regarding music: at that time, there was neither music television nor streaming; sales were determined by how often the song was played on the radio. At least, if it was mainstream. And in metal, for example, the only way to distribute music was through mixtapes. If you couldn't afford the music, or it wasn't available in certain countries, you had no other choice. What you're saying is high horse at its finest. And you're welcome to pretend you know what you're talking about. Your articulation and manner of communication show me who I'm dealing with.

And you were supposedly a combat sports fan before 1971? Interesting. That would probably make you the oldest user here. With an account from 2024....sherdog was getting really late on your radar, wasn´t it?

Conceit is also an education.

Luke Thomas Rumors:

Says theirs alot of talk of it being ESPN and Netlix but that Paramount plus last minute has come in to bid.

Luke says the majority of events would be ESPN but not all.

Maybe we get a three way split with Espn, Netlfix, Paramount plus?

$50/mo to get all LIVE events or library included? $50/mo for live cards minus PPV is a worse deal than what you get currently with ESPN+.

Theirs alot of unknowns right now but one thing I can absolutely guarantee you is that you will be paying more money to get access to live UFC events next year.

The rights are getting split and you will need multiple subscriptions to get everything. The new ESPN DTC is $30, Netflix is $8, and now theirs rumors of Paramount plus too...
Going to be expensive to be a fight fan.

And companies are surprised when people pirate. $35/month for all UFC cards and fight library and I'll pay. The current business model isn't worth it. Gatekeeping PPV behind an ESPN+ paywall was already absurd.

This is a different ESPN deal to replace expiring one. Espn are launching a super network for streaming, DTC for $30 bucks a month. It will have everything, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN Deportes, ESPN U, literally all their library, sports rights. ESPN Plus will be a separate streaming service.

ESPN recently just bought NFL Network and Redzone too. Their trying to force NFL fans to get it too and WWE fans with today's announcement. UFC fans are next.

You can come apologize and admit you turned out to be dead wrong at anytime.

Even if the ppvs go to CBS on cable go buy a 10 dollar antenna for your tv on amazon and your set

Now that the WWE has announced today that its headed to the new ESPN DTC super network. Its almost a 100% guarantee that UFC will too.

Heres the problem with that, the subscription is 30 bucks a month... and UFC is planning on splitting their rights
too.

So we may end up in a situation like this:

ESPN DTC: $30
Netflix: $8 (cheapest option) or Prime
ESPN Plus: $12

50 bucks a month

Its going to be expensive to get all the fight nights, DWCS, etc. and don't forget the $80 ppv each month on top.

When I wanted to watch football in the past, I turned on the TV and watched it with no subscription or anything. If I wanted to watch UFC, I went to the video store and rented a physically produced product for $3.

Now, they somehow expect us to pay at least $100 to watch football on a mobile app for the year, or $250 on TV. If I want to watch UFC, you're telling me I gotta get multiple separate streaming services? Shiiiit, let me go find my eye patch.

But, not gonna lie, I'm still going to go month to month on Paramount+ (if the PPVs are included). That's a much better deal than ESPN+.
