PPV draws

Assuming that Conor and Ronda don't come back (I think at least one of them will at some point) but in the meantime who will be UFC's big draw(s)? These two have been carrying the ppvs for the past couple years...

My thoughts..

Cyborg will be the next face of womens mma
UFC will try to make Khabib the next big overseas draw to replace Conor's void
They will also try to push Overeem and Cain as the heavyweight draws

What do you think?

They don't have any really. Jones drew a pathetic 300,000 for his return fight. He will draw big for DC 2 and then back to sub 500k unless he wants to test himself and fight HWs. Cain, Overeem and JDS will still pull in numbers. That's about it. I don't think CM Punk will pull in big numbers and he will get slaughtered by Gall.

It's crazy that Jon Jones being one of the greatest fighters of all time isn't really a big ppv draw.

Yeah, imo, UFC hasn't done the best job of marketing Jones vs DC, if I were Dana, I would make sure there were ads playing everywhere and have them talking shyt to eachother non-stop

Yeah pretty much every Jones ppv promo has been basic as fuck. GSP had the sickest ppv promos, Aldo vs McGrgegor had a great promo, Ronda had a lot of good promos.

Jones gets the lamest promos his last promo was trash.

Yeah, Jones has the personality and skill, but UFC has done a horrible job of making him popular, They should have been hyping his criminal activities and return to the octagon and everything leading up to st. preux, i also feel like they should have a 1 hour sit down with teh champ and challenger and coach them to just talk shyt non stop and get in a fight at the end that they could put on FS1 on prime time or something, I totally agree with your promos too

Yeah. Lately he's been stepping out of that fakeness and has started just being himself and stopped caring. If he would have done that initially from the beginning instead of trying to portray somebody he's not I think that would definitely have changed people's views on him a bit.

His fight with DC actually had decent buy rates because they hyped it pretty decent with the whole bad blood show they did. I feel like they can definitely do better with their rematch if they hype it up right like you are saying.

That is so accurate, imagine the field day UFC would have had if Chael had been the next champion instead of a normal guy like Weidman, I can definitely see Wonderboy being a big draw
