People should stop blaming the UFC for the lack of interest in Jon Jones. He comes off as not very likable, and although he's the best at imposing his will on his opponents, his style is flat footed and overall kind of bland. Aside from an occasional spinning elbow, he isn't very flashy and I think that plays a big part.

Yeah pretty much every Jones ppv promo has been basic as fuck. GSP had the sickest ppv promos, Aldo vs McGrgegor had a great promo, Ronda had a lot of good promos.

Jones gets the lamest promos his last promo was trash.

I liked the New Level Promo. Haa. He does gets the basic treatment though. Rousey vs Holm basically got a short film instead of a promo.

I could see wonderboy, overeem, and sage being the big draws in the near future. All of them have the it factor imo.

Sage is gonna take a bit longer to develope but he has the potential.

i wish they would do more promos with songs that are actually hits like that. their music department has always bugged me. the new level promo was perfect cause that song fit so well and it made the ufc seem up to date with their taste.

Funny enough I thought GSP vs Shields promo was pretty corny. Haa. It still had a story though. UFC 200 promo needs that Storyline type promo for those who don't follow the sport.

McGregor gets cool ass promos. Unfortunately i can't find them on YouTube except the Vegas one. My favorite McGregor promo has to be the one he is talking about Gorilla coming and taking over or some shit like that but I forgot whether it was UFC 189 or UFC 194. They made that shit seem like it was a sequel to the Dark Knight.

I think Jones can still breakout, let's face it...Who dafuq is OSP, I think we can all agree Mayweather is a huge draw in the boxing world and his last fight vs a nobody did 500k, Jones vs a nobody did 300k...DC II +800k, Rumble +700k, then HW debut +1mil.

I agree. As long as the hit songs make sense to the event, location or fighter. I don't want that trash ass Panda track as a promo song because its a hit. Haa

Haha yeah I think that was for 194. Agreed UFC 200 most definitely needs that epic storyline promos, fuck it give Jones and DC a Ronda vs Holm movie. These two really are the best in the world in their divisions give them that movie promo.
