Power loss? When is the last time Conor rocked or hurt someone with a punch?

I don't think you realize you can be rocked without stumbling all over the place. There's a reason why your account was made this year.
Face it, Conor hasn't dropped anyone with a punch in 5 years.

Maybe dat left got injured at some point or lost fast twitch explosive power.

At this point in his career cowboys so shot he would get knocked out by womans strawweights. That fight should never have been made. But hey canors gonna cherry pick the easiest fights possible.
All of sudden Diego Sanchez sounds like a good idea.

Regardless of excuses, that touch of death power Conor was touted as having from his fans hasn't been seen for half a decade.

Bodies used to fall over the place when he fought. Now he just looks like a generic fighter with middle of the road power.

Really though Conors "touch of death" power was mostly in situations like this and Aldo were he was catching someone off balance.

The fear factor was a lot of the reason why opponents were ending up in those situations were as today they are much more confident they can take Conors shots and that his cardio won't allow him to carry on at the same pace for an entire fight.

Dustin got cracked a few times in the fight, let's not act like he didn't

and he did. and got the finish himself the next round by not giving connie time to recover.

Well, Connie was on one foot. If Poirier was too at the moment he got rocked, I doubt Conor would have let him off the hook.

Conor has never been a one punch KO style killer. He was a good counter striker. Very fast and precise. Everyone acts like he is some dwarf version of Mike Tyson but thats not the case. He doesnt get in people's heads anymore and people know how to beat him. We've seen this before. Remember how Rhonda Rousey was unstoppable and could definitely kick Mayweather's ass in a boxing match? Then people figured her out. After that......she gone. Same will happen to Conor. This is just the beginning.

He hurt Dustin twice, once good because he saw flashes. And that in 1 round.
Conor is a barely 5'9 guy with a 74 reach, big hands, small waist, heavy shoulders. Of course he still has power. Just a little less at 155 than at 145

I think part of him being so sucessful was his trash talk. He would push people into making mistakes. Aldo did it, and Khabib did it too, that over-aggressiveness on the 2nd round was a mistake and could have cost him the fight.

Good power at 145, average power at 155. Average power is still more than enough to knock anyone out though if he finds the right shot, which he hasn't done lately.

Well, Connie was on one foot. If Poirier was too at the moment he got rocked, I doubt Conor would have let him off the hook.
Who knows, Conor’s fight iq has dropped over the years.. his killer instinct he had too hasn’t been there but only is at fw or when fighting much smaller fighters (Eddie)

He's not fighting featherweights anymore
This, he was really killing himself to make FW, and the move to lightweight just brought him in with much bigger guys. It's very similar with Holloway, at 145 very few if any can hang in their with his pressure and size, but at 155 there are a lot more that likely can take the abuse and dish out there own, as Dustin did. Ironically he started at 145 but has grown into 155 nicely.

Who knows, Conor’s fight iq has dropped over the years..

Kinda I guess. I think mentality and gameplan is more what it really came down to, but you could call it that too. IMO, he still has the fight IQ, he just wasn't using it to the fullest.
