Which thai pads did you want to know about, the top kings or the ring to cage?

Im not sure i really like the top king pads, they are just a bit too hard for my liking.
I bought the medium size and they are short but quite thick and heavy. They are well made and the leather is good and they are probably good for shin conditioning but just too hard for my taste. Maybe its just my shins that arnt conditioned enough.

They make a nice sound when you hit them sweetly and offer enough protection to be comfortable to hold for the pad man. If i was spending my money again i would have opted for the medium boon thai pads are they are just as well made but softer and nicer to kick, not to mention cheaper.

If you want me to post some more detailed pictures then just ask.

that's kinda surprising actually - the Boon larges I have are "first generation" and are real shin- splitters; quite possibly the hardest pads I've ever kicked. The Boon smalls I picked up last fall from Title are much, much softer, but don't make a nice crack when they're kicked. Neither pad's especially protective for the holder.

I would love to buy some Top King ultimates; but I really can't afford them right now.

I LOVE my Top Kings! Here is the review I did a while back on them. They are firm but not that bad. Still my favorite to hit and to hold.

I decided to make a little shrine for the great retired or deceased equipment makers.

Also I really like the look of the Ringside IMF Tech's especially for the price you get them in the US. They seem to be really solid gloves. They're not sold in the UK, but just saw some new 14oz ones go on ebay here for $115.

^that is really cool, have you officially retired those gloves? Are the big old red ones in front of the Tuf-Wear gloves Flores?

here's those mitts we were talking about btw

As Tone already pointed out, they are Flores gloves. I might use the Beaulieu gloves for mitt work once in a blue, everything else will remain untouched.

Those mitts are awesome. I should have picked them up when I had the chance.

I emailed the KOFG owner a few weeks ago I think it was because I wanted to buy KOFG curved mitts, which he no longer has. He seemed such a nice guy though that I feel obligated now to order something from him in the future

Hey Spanky, how do you like your Grant? been thinking about buying a pair of them
