I have two pairs of MMA gloves. I plan on buying some Twins Gloves, Headgear, Muay Thai, and Jaco shorts. So when I get those in I will try to get a picture of it up.

Shock doctor custom mouthguard and jaco guardian cup system is on the way. i got a killer freakin deal on the mouthguard from njfightshop.com also got a discount code "tenoff" and free shipping. with the custom mouthguard and jaco set it cam to $136

The Reyes started to peeled off over time (about a year of having them) and i just peeled them completely off. It came off really easily.

Not sure of how to remove logo's - but your yellow top kings are slick with or wihout the logo.

I've seen the bgv6's in 16 oz and they can definitely be used for sparring. Fairtex market's the product only emphasizing the stylish angular velcro strap. They are definitely a multi purpose glove at 14 oz plus.

Thanks again man. Your white fairtexs are really nice and I'm really tempted to get a pair just like that (only in yellow, haha!). They look to be around the same size as your 16 oz kings? How do you find the profile on the 18 oz? Don't know if I'll need 18 oz gloves, maybe only 16s. I walk around at only 60 kg =P

The only difference is in the density. The amount of padding seems to be about the same - the fairtex are a little denser. The kings are too soft - my punches were penetrating way too much for 16 oz gloves. I was getting more painful reactions from my kings than from the reyes.

The padding in the kings may have changed. I bought my pair in Bangkok 5 years ago.

I honestly think the bgl3's are some of the best gloves out there, I still cant believe that they only cost me 100 bucks.

You and I have some similar taste too. My brother placed an order on my behalf for yellow fairtex mexican headgear and a pair of 18oz bgl 9's. He cancelled because it had taken beyond the 5 - 7 weeks for them to ship out. Also, I've been reading every review possible on the fg 2900's. I want them in white.

shit son.

new custom mouthguard mold. I got a killer deal on it over at njfightshop.com for 109.99

i wanted to get a custom mouthguard, couldn't pass it up. i hope it comes out ok. when it comes in i'll post another pic of it.

I bought them as a backup to my fairtex and also as my gloves for regular boxing which is tomorrow :) they fit totally different than the fairtex bgv1 as the cuff is longer and the thumb is attached differently (like how western gloves are)

hey which ones do you like better? im kind of thinking about getting boon gloves very soon
i have the fairtex BGV1 in 16oz
how would you compare the two in terms of hand compartment/fit/feel?

The boons have a smaller hand compartment which is more comfortable imho. the cuff is also wider and longer. i like the fairtex and the boons, i think i like the fairtex more because they look better made and more professionally done.

sweet thanks,
yeah i love my fairtex, its pretty snug with bit of room
and great for clinching.heard real good things about boon tho
only reason i wanna buy it cause of the supper snug fit/molding on your hands according to some reviews on here.use it for my fights etc.

to be honest i am put off on the quality control of the boons. it probably doesn't seem like much of a big deal but the logo is peeling off the back of the gloves. i thought it wouldn't bother me, but it does. for 70 bucks i'd expect better. the gloves are very well made, but don't look like they are super well made if that makes any sense. not like with the fairtex gloves, it looks like a lot of care and time goes into each glove (which may not be the case, but i can always imagine as such lol)

here are some compare pics including my hayabusas that came today

Not the best pics, but a few of my most used gear:

And a better pic of everything but my Fairtex and brand new Reyes:

Blue Rival USA Boxing Competition Headgear

Blue Title USA Boxing Competition Headgear

My first pair of bag gloves, White Ringside Super Bag Gloves, Junior sized. Bought in the early 90's, still use them to this day

Blue Reyes 16 oz Training Gloves. Used these more than any other glove, these have seen their fair share of blood and sweat from about 4 years of sparring. Love them!

Fairtex BGV1's, 12 0z in Citrine color. Very high quality glove, but they're not for me. High grade leather, excellent craftsmanship, but I don't like the short cuff and the padding isn't dense enough for me.

Shevlin 16 oz gloves, Dark Brown on Light Brown, Elastic Cuff. Bought maybe 3-4 years ago and tried my hardest to like them but couldn't. They're like wearing pillows on each hand. After 4 months or so of use, decided they were one of my least favorite gloves. Cool look, totally not for me.

Here is a better pic of that second pair of Reyes, along with a pair I bought my brother, both of which arrived today!

12 oz Training Gloves in limited Orange and limited Brown. Sexiest gloves I can ever remember putting on. Only got to mess around with them for about a round today, but they are BEAUTIFUL gloves. I have super small hands, and they are snug on me, so I would suggest 14 oz at the least for bigger boys. Obviously I can't give much feedback on them until I've used them for a few months, but that super dense padding is literally my perfect glove.

Where did you get the orange reyes gloves?

Diggin' the orange Cleto's and lime green Fairtex. Sweet collection.

They are not limited, i've seen them since 2001. However, they charge about 50-bucks more for custom colors (green, brown, orange, purple, blue, gold, silver)

Blue is a custom color, all the others have been "limited"

Hook and Loop Closure Training Gloves

Green was the first I remember for sale, though they've had interested tri-color combinations in lace up through Ringside a few years back.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Reyes is producing new velcro training gloves in green, orange, or brown. They had "chocolate" for a long time, but these are a different brown than that.
