I'm a pure boxer and I'm planning to buy a fairtex brand. I heard that bgv6 and bgv9s are more tailored to boxers. Which one should I buy for mitts and the bag as well as sparring? Or do I have to buy both of them?

Bgv9 are great gloves for bag and pads but realistically are too hard for sparing if you care about your sparing partners

That's what I heard too. I would like to supplement that by buying another glove for sparring. I was thinking of the Fairtex BGV6 or the Twins BGLL-1 lace up. You think those are good for sparring?

My friend has the bgv6 and likes them I have had the bgv9……I assume you are talking about boxing not Maui Thai? I didn’t like the twins at all. I personally asssunibg you want two pairs and cost where you are is similar would be bgv9 and topboxer win1 stick gloves for sparring. How much sparring you going to be doing

I had twins for my first glove for boxing, I second this. Didn't get along with them at all the wrist support on the velcro felt a little meh and really short on my fingers. Only glove I've had where my knuckles where fairly sore after bag work!
