Post random facts other people may not know thread

Kevin Nash's guarunteed money during the period between WCW's closure and his WWE return was more than what WCW was bought for.

The most number of stitches a wrestler has ever sustained from a single match is 111.

Coming in at a close second is 110 stitches.

Well, let's first say this is a free country and you can like what you want.

But I find it amazing so many (adult) people like
pre determined soap opera matches of guys who are roided to the gills.
And cheer for them while the outcome of the match is already set.

They portray an image of strongness while most of those HW's would get
KO'd or subbed by a UFC welterweight.

Some of the jumps they do are indeed impressive.
But the volume of fans is amazing to me.
I relate the whole thing to boys in the 7-14 range.
Yet there people who pay 59.95 for all this.

If I have a company one day.
I would try to hire McMahon's marketing people.

I'm from Holland, so it might be a cultural thing.
An adult man here, who says he's a Hulk Hogan fan,
would get looked at rather strangely.

Do you look strangely at people who like Theater in Holland too? Because that is all wrestling is.

It is just theater targeting a different type of audience.

Probably far and away the most popular theater of all time too. A Shakespeare play with well known actors will get you some white middle and upper class old people paying to see it, but you are not going to sell out stadiums on a regular basis with it.

To be fair, Brad Armstrong's match was a dark match. All of the wrestlers that were on the card, that actually made it to air, are still alive.

Still. it's a fight that happened at that event, just like a UFC prelim or fight pass fight

weird not to include it and say everyone from Slamborree 94 is alive and well

Who the fuck cares about a dark match? Not the TV, PPV, VHS, DVD, Network cariers, that's who.

Well Moron, as people are claiming that everyone from Slamorree 94 is still alive

when clearly that's BS

this is how most website show the card
