Yeah, I'm not sure what causes homosexuality exactly. Not everybody who is molested as a child by someone of the same sex grows up to be gay, so that can't be the direct cause. However, there are identical twins (genetic copies of each other) where one twin is homosexual and the other is heterosexual, so it's not entirely genetics either. It seems to be some mixture of genetics and environment and other factors.

It feels like these young protestors never felt disappointment in their life, like this is the first time. It brings up an interesting point because prior to the election for the last year I've heard numerous pundits declare the Republican party dead and go on to say the Republicans might not ever win an election again. Did they actually think after 8 years of Obama that they were going to string together about 100 years of consecutive wins? It shows they have no grasp whatsoever of the political history of this country.

My dad's theory is that it's not necessarily the molestation that causes them to be queer, but rather that the homosexual philes can pick up on which kids have those tendencies and will be more receptive to that sort of thing. It could be a bit of both, I'm not entirely sure. You raise a good point about girls and that we seem to know less about what causes them to be that way. One thing I remember is that lesbians are more likely to have longer ring fingers than index fingers, similar to men, than heterosexual women. That suggests a genetic component. They also have higher testosterone than heterosexual women. The higher testosterone helps explain why they are over-represented in sports and the military and law enforcement relative to straight women.

I actually agree with you on a fair amount of this. But you have a poor understanding of what the libertarian position is. It's not nearly as corporatist as you think it is. Hence, why big corporations almost never support libertarians and support Republicans and Democrats instead. Big Government and Big Business working together. I think we all have our tendencies. Then there is environment or trauma.

I have a lesbian customer. She has two teenage boys, was married to a man for at least 15 years, then got a divorce and went lesbian. She's a nice lady. And you wouldn't think she was a lesbian looking at her.

Anyway, as far as Lena Dunham, she didn't do her sister any favor by fondling her private parts. I gotta wonder if that was a big factor.
