i was talking about hard drugs. The abuse of prescription painkillers is for sure a huge problem a doctor prescribing them willy nilly is no different than a drug dealer. The issue was the idea that it's a victimless crime which it is not. Decriminalization has not worked, Safe injections sites and hard reductions have only resulted in a vast increase in deaths, continued usage and overall suffering. You give an addict free reign to do drugs, they aren't going to work where are they going to get the money from ? Welfare is only enough to cover your fix for a short time. You are then forcing people to commit crimes and further victimize people in order to fund an addiction that you helped enable.
