I can only imagine as good opponents for him for doing this are: Chandler, maybe Dustin but Dustin probably wouldn't want that, loser of Gaethje-Hooker, or maybe Paddy for the popularity. His 2 fight losing streak is against the #'s 1 and 2 and one of those was an eliminator. Getting turned away from fighting this fight as a home town fighter at the last minute and then getting someone like BSD would be insulting.

Dariush didn't get dropped by Oliveira for the finish, even with a head kick and the follow up punches. During those, he took a hook to the side/top of his head while blind to it too, and he dove for the leg and still worked on the ground to his leg got caught and the fight was called on a tko. Not exactly the best evidence for the argument

Edit* also, are we talking about him vs Moicano, a guy who was getting dropped by shriveled Zombie and ancient RDA? He got dropped by Turner recently too.
