Dariush didn't get dropped by Oliveira for the finish, even with a head kick and the follow up punches. During those, he took a hook to the side/top of his head while blind to it too, and he dove for the leg and still worked on the ground to his leg got caught and the fight was called on a tko. Not exactly the best evidence for the argument
I explicitly said that didn't happen. What did you miss?So you’re saying he got dropped,
It was a TKO. It was created positionally. Saying that's "chinny" is stupid is my point. Roy Nelson didn't beat Kimbo cuz Kimbo had a bad chin. It was ground and pound until the ref called it.took extra damage, and got finished inside one round?
Again, not what I said happened. Explain to me what you missed.Give him roses for hanging on to a leg in his stupor though!
What was embarrassing, other than the standard embarrassment of getting KO'ed? He survived the knee to the head (ya know, cuz he's so "chinny") but that did mean he didn't see the hook that followed. Then he got embarrassingly KO’s in one minute against Arman.
He's always fought slow, it has nothing to do with his age, which I might remind you, is only 15 days older than Moicano. All that happened because he is old and slow and can’t circle away from danger.
He’ll be even older and slower in his next fight, coming off a KO and recovering from a knee injury.

Oh look at that, 2 situations where he took a major strike to the head (kick & knee) that he took fine, but both of the follow-up strikes that you think make him chinny, (only one that actually dropped him and knocked him out) hit him blind. Are you, as an MMA fan, familiar with the phrase "It's the one you don't see.."? Cuz if you don't, it might explain why you don't know what "chinny" means

So every guy that ate a punch before he shot for a takedown got "dropped" in your book?lmao so every guy that gets rocked standing then pounded out, you consider that “being created positionally”?
Dariush grabbed a leg, Charles spun out. Dariush grabs the other leg to prevent his back getting taken. When Charles moved to take the back anyway, Dariush rolled through to try and take that leg. Charles spins with the momentum to prevent that. When Charles tries to move to mount, Dariush shrimped back to gain half guard, but it put his butt to the fence so his way out that way was blocked. You calling that "flailing around" and not recognizing it as a bad position above everything says about as much as your MMA analysis as not knowing what the word chinny means.Nelson actually maintains a crucifix and gets the TKO stoppage simply because Kimbo couldn’t escape the position. THAT is creating a TKO positionally, but that’s not what happened to Dariush.
Beneil was on the ground because he got rocked hard standing, then flailed around for 10 seconds trying to hold on to whatever he could to regain his bearing. The position was created from him getting punched in the head.
