During those, he took a hook to the side/top of his head while blind to it too, and he dove for the leg and still worked on the ground to his leg got caught and the fight was called on a tko. Not exactly the best evidence for the argument

You calling that "flailing around" and not recognizing it as a bad position above everything says about as much as your MMA analysis as not knowing what the word chinny means.

He gets clipped to the chin, then the next punch puts him on one knee, and at that point he starts grabbing for limbs.
