Political Betting Thread

Go to the wasteland boy. U do not bet and have no clue how people who actually bet think. Go debate with other rabid dogs who have no real skin in the game.

So, do u call your wife/gf/bf stupid when they have a differing opinion. Do u call your young daughter/son a moron or an idiot because they speak their mind? And if they continue to talk, do u even take it further and get physical? How deep is this obvious anger problem u have?

Hillary-with-sunglasses Deal with it

I'm simply posting value picks for the profitability of the thread, not quite sure what your on about here. but continue with your diatribe if you feel you must SBJJ.

Lol. The angry bully has been tamed. That was easier than I thought

what % chance do you give Trump to win the general election sbjj, internet tuff-guy.

U like to use selective facts, only when it helps your cause. You call me angry b/c I prove wrong ignorant, abusive posters. Go back a few pages, and watch the Donald's supporters call me all sort of things, much like you just have, simply for imploring bettors to look into the fact that hillary has had value here all along.

biased polls don't mean shit, there is no e-mail indictment coming and the misogynist clown of a candidate never had enough voters. Pretend like you know me a little more.

This shit is no longer a conspiracy theory. She is hiding something.

Wikileaks supposedly has her aides looking up Parkinson's medication.

This really seemed a bit out there, and this was within the past month. who knows, but hopefully these thoughts didnt steer anybody onto a bad bet.

But i am curious to know like the other guy, has your expectation for the upcoming result changed much, over recent?

Consensus seems to be that Trump won the debate. I think Trump still has a good chance of winning this thing, I'll say 35%.

It feels as if the public/media are rating these debates simply on the last question, and setting him a really low bar.

Trump's start to the debate was embarrassing, he bumbled through the question and failed to even deny being an abuser, and then was completely out of his depth on foreign policy, more than usual. Whining to moderators is never a good look and he was extreme last night.

His only good moment, for me, was the 'Commend your opponent' as he gave a genuine answer, Hillary just shilled for herself through that one. Thought Clinton had a really effective uniting speech early as well, far better than anything she said last time.

I judged that Trump "won" based on responses of undecideds such as those gathered by Frank Luntz. Doesn't matter who I think came across better. I think the debate will at least stop the bleeding from the tape ordeal. Due to lag in polls it will take a while for the slide to stop in the RCP average.

My basic feeling now is that the "pussy" bombshell timing wasn't the best. They are giving Trump lots of time to recover. 4.5 weeks is an eternity in Trump land. He has recovered so many times before, and Clinton is still a terrible candidate.

This is not the feeling I got from reading play-by-plays. The PBPs during the 1st debate seemed to reach consensus that Clinton won. This time the Clinton supporters were mostly complaining about the "shit storm" while the Trump people were cheering a lot. Sherdog PBP in the War Room is an example of that.

Lol. A newly created account. Come on.

So u think she is honest on her health. U also believe trump is honest on his taxes? Seriously, come on.

U understand that a trump bet at that time could have been hedged a week later

Clinton won the first debate. Trump won this one.

Ok internet Tuffer guy. Would u be willing to screenshot at least 1 of your bets to prove that u are just not a Troll insulting people in a Betting thread

Sherdog political PBP is not going to be how I gauge public response. However, the media is playing it as a win for Trump. I just don't personally agree (I also didn't think the first was a total disaster for him), but we'll see how that plays out.

It's best for them to drag this out and make it as exciting as possible anyway, need to squeeze Trump for all he's worth. I do think it was a good debate for Trump to make himself the new face of the alt-right.

From what I saw, they were both aggressive in the 2nd debate.

I think Trump lost steam after the first 1/3 of the debate, then focused on constantly interrupting Hillary and speaking way longer than he was supposed to. Also, Trump didn't make himself look as dumb during this debate when compared to the first debate, but I assume it's cuz he was on his best behavior due to the pussy grabbing audiotape looming over his head.

One of the things that stuck out to me was that Trump kept avoiding answering direct questions a lot, and the two hosts had to keep reminding him to stay on topic on several occasions.

IMO, there was no clear winner in the second debate like there was in the first. If I had to pick a winner, it surely wouldn't be Trump.

They literally spoke the same amount of time. Even factoring in any interruptions. Trump spoke 10 seconds more than her.

It's obvious people are gonna judge these debates on where their party loyalty lies.

Hillary whipped his ass the first debate and he clearly won this debate. It's why independents thought he won this debate like 70%. Just like they thought Hillary won the first.

To each their own but if u leave your house and venture out in public u will see that MOST thought she won the first while he won the second. Go out and talk to people and stop reading shit from CNN or the Drudge Report.

It would be nice if this thread was only available to actual people betting this race. It seems a bunch of die hard politicos have infiltrated the thread

So surprised ANY presidential candidate would say that.

The fact that he knows we are and is willing to say it makes him more qualified then her to run this country.

Make no mistake. The bubble we are in is gonna pop like no other bubble before it.

Yeah, ok, Mr. Objectivity. The majority of people are mimicking what their news sources tell them, which is fair to use as a gauge to judge betting this election but acting like you're not biased here is kind of funny.

I think if the media says it was a win for Trump, then it was a win for Trump. I think the media is that powerful.

I only have tiny bets on politics. Would I meet the threshold?

At this point I am likely to lose about $25 on the election due to a bet I took on not Clinton at +170 when I had some extra pennies sitting in my account.

My other $50 bet is on Trump to win but only counts if no third party hits 3% in the popular vote. Looks to me like Johnson will hit 3%, so the bet will be voided.

I'm a registered Libertarian and voting for Johnson. I can't stand either major political party. I'm tired of the wars and the bubbles.

Sorry man. But him pointing out we are in a bubble cycle is true. One of the few really true things either has said.
