Trump broke out of the gate really strong and Hillary was just taking hits, but it was a bit of a rope-a-dope. It's a totally inconsequential win for Hillary. She had her opportunities to stop him in the second half but she just waited for the bell instead.

Same mistake that his Republican opponents made, America is willing to give Trump a controversial split decision.
 
The best thing said all debate was Trump stating how interest rates have left the American economy in a massive bubble. This needs to be talked about more. Too bad it'll be lost in the noise.

So surprised ANY presidential candidate would say that.

The fact that he knows we are and is willing to say it makes him more qualified then her to run this country.

Make no mistake. The bubble we are in is gonna pop like no other bubble before it.
 
I think that debate will have little effect either way. I thought neither one of them did very well. Trump came out Lombard style but faded, Clinton had some good lines but only later on and seemed less natural.

Close race, might be another 2000 election.

I see that Clinton is now up by only 5 in Michigan. If states like Michigan and Wisconsin begin falling to Trump, it's over for Clinton.

All recent polls have Trump winning Ohio. Florida is dead even. Colorado and Pennsylvania show tiny Clinton leads. This is close.

Trump having an absolutely terrible week. Down 9% among likely voters in Pennsylvania. 12% with registered voters.

The losing a billion dollars during the mid 90's feels like a death knell to me. Completely undermines many of his arguments.

He's in trouble for sure. I think the his debate performance totally derailed any momentum he had. The leaked tax return hurts badly too, even though it's partly a bullshit issue. Nobody pays more tax than they are required to. But it's a double whammy because it can also be interpreted legitimately as a reflection on his ability as a business man. To lose that kind of money in a boom period is not good. I actually think there is merit to the idea that he isn't worth what he claims he is. I mean a guy worth 5-10B grinding away on a reality tv show for nearly a decade? C'mon.

On the Hillary spectrum it looks like the Clinton Foundation may have been hacked by the same guy that hacked the DNC server. This is breaking news and I have no idea what the ramifications will be. But the Clinton Foundation appears to be corrupt as hell, so this is potentially really bad for Hillary if it's legit.
 
Apparently the Guccifer Clinton Foundatinon hack is probably BS and Assange didn't deliver on his October surprise that people were expecting today. It looks like Trump may need a silver bullet event to win this, either a major Clinton health incident or some extremely damning evidence surfacing, and it doesn't look like either is going to happen.
 
Trump still has a good chance. I give him a 45% chance at this point.

The tax issue is total bullshit but could easily hurt him because people do not understand NOL and business deductions.

The media is starting its big anti-Trump push to get Clinton over the finish line, stirring up BS about PTSD for example. It could work.

There are two more debates. Both could have a big impact.

Haven't checked the current line and don't usually wager on politics, but yeah. As others have also pointed out in this thread, the lines are cyclical based on media coverage. Even if you don't give Trump a good chance of winning, you have to anticipate a freeroll opportunity coming up.
