This isnt a recent development, it happened after the Polish border guard was killed with the spear which was at least a year ago. The way they got it passed in parliament was they accused all the leftists opposing it as puppets of Putin and they caved though added 100 different criteria that need to be met before lethal force can be used. Essentially only if the guards have a clear reason to believe their life is threatened. Also the measures expire after a few years. Its really not based at all but all these youtube channels know that low information idiots will like and comment on any video about Poland being based and owning the libs when in reality they just elected a huge globalist who shut down Polish version of Fox News.
