Alex is not 250lbs. If Almeida or Blaydes or Aspinall took him down, he ain't getting back up.

Even at 205 Alex is still pretty lean. Assuming his gas tank is good between these weight classes I don't see why not. Big guy with dangerous striking at any weight class

I would love to see it but I think the heavyweight division is where opponents don't necessarily need to grapple to finish Pereira.
Gane can completely nullify Pereira's kicking game and melt him within two rounds. Volkov can utilize his reach advantage and pick him apart with straight punches. Tuivasa can overwhelm Pereira and force Pereira to engage in a brawl. Don't forget Tuivasa ate some shots from Lewis. Stipe might struggle with the leg kicks but the moment Stipe delivers that one-two straight punches, I don't see Pereira surviving unless he has a granite chin like Ngannou. Jon would finish him like he finished Gane. Pavlovich would completely overwhelm him with pace all while being the more powerful guy.
In regards to how a fight between Aspinall and Pereira would go down, I think Aspinall could beat him anyway he wants. But it would still be one of the riskier fights for him because he has to consistently blitz in and out to deliver his combinations.
