Granted I have no clue who the boxers are or what level they are. They were giving Alex some good work and he wasn't holding back himself. Looked like he was trying to knock these guys out. I wonder if it's actually smart for Pereira's team to have so much of this footage from training out for everyone including opponents to study it

I hate "friendly sparring" ...

Somebody in Alex' camp need to make him spar for real, every time.

No games, no "softness" ...

Muay Thai fighters and Cuban boxers spar light all the time so do plenty of MMA fighters and combat sports fighters in general.

It's different for every fighter, some like to spar hard more then others, and every fighter needs to spar hard at times, but sparring full boar all the time 100% is more or less stupid to put it simply.

Look what it did to Micheal Johnson.

Sparring hard shortens careers.

name all of those all time greats who didn’t spar hard include all combat sports.

Sparring is the main thing that prepares you for a fight.
going half speed just degrades you for your fight.

Hate how his trainers say nothing for "hands down" ...

Real coaches would be assaulting him for this deficit ...

"Hands down" is (literally) Pereira's only weakness ...

I did ammy boxing as sparring was always a fight. With 16 ounce gloves, headgear, mouthguard, against evenly matched opponents. Coach pulled you apart before people really guy hurt.

whos the black guy? he always beating up that dude
