Ankalaev will knock Pereira out cold next fight. That shaman crap doesn't work on Muslims who believe in one God.
Alex showed to be a sore loser. He is not dealing well with this loss.Yeah a 21-1 fighter decisioned him in a very close fight and ruined him
What a dumb comment
If anything Alex showed growth in grappling
It's true. Ank has put way more people to sleep than Poatan.I fell asleep by just remembering that match

I've read Poatan comes out against wall street.
I just feel Ankalaev didn't do enough to win the fight, and I don't think you should be winning championships like that.correct. therefore, everything that happened OUTSIDE of that is what wins rounds and fights. outside of the lulls in the action for 2 minutes in each of the last 2 rounds, alex got backed up, battered with punches and alex landed 11 total strikes to the head across 25 minutes. if he wanted to win the fight, he should have let his strikes go.
Yeah, for some reason I don't think in a rematch Pereira is just going to walk forward and KO Ankalaev. As cool as it would be. It seemed more like he had no way to even start boxing him.it's like my dude forgot that he almost got knocked out in rd 2, and Ankalaev was initiating all the exchanges and pressing forward.
The referees should break it up faster if nothing happens. Wall and stall is about as fun to watch as a guy hugging their opponent the whole fight in a boxing match.
I think k Ank won but broke him? .............. in a fight that literally could have been scored either way? I think tou need to check your definition of being broken man.Ankalaev broke him. Alex was even more inactive...
Every round from 1 to 3 looked close and could have Alex winning but the 4 and 5 ended up being 12 take down defenses and walk and stall... But the fact Alex did nothing the entire time and was so passive is the real problem
The unified rules were changed to favor damage as the #1 criteria like 7 years ago.
Dillashaw vs. Sandhagen was the result of judges not properly apply the rules.
Also, the two judges who gave Dillashaw the fight are among the worst in MMA and consistently get decisions wrong.
Oh 100%. They just totally ignored the rules and awarded the fight based on control despite Corey out damaging TJ entirely.

I'm not saying it was an exciting fight by any means, but Ank did win the fight by outstriking him & by complete control.True, but late in the fight it appeared he knew he was ahead and was clinching a ton to just coast to a victory, which is something I don't really enjoy seeing.
