Exactly this. Izzy clearly wanted to continue. Why not let the fighters show their chin and recovery instead of stopping it after a big strike or two? Izzy wasn't ever knocked down by any of those strikes either. Not to mention it was a title fight. If you that scared for the fighters safety, then don't let them fight period. Or go back to watching the knitting world championships.

Where Alex was there throwing beautiful measured shots patiently at a distance . He wasn’t rushing in sloppy. Totally different scenarios. Sorry, but you are in the wrong side, to start Barry is not Pereira, he was an sloppy mediocre fighter and that have happened... maybe one or two times in UFC? Yes, he looked way more hurt than Izzy. Due to Pat, running in and swinging big hooks, he put himself in a position to be taken down and then gets up tries to take him down and Kongo sprawls and lands big due to Pat moving in. Alex was giving enough space and distance.

Can you not see the differences in the scenarios? It’s clear as day!
