I mean, I understand what Silver is trying to say here but bruh, the Thunder are not the Packers and the Pacers are not the Steelers. Adam Silver is fighting against something he doesn't even understand. Over the last 75 years half the F'ing championships have been won by 2 teams in your league. Let that sink in, TWO teams have won HALF the Championships over the last 75 years. Makes it hard for people to be accustomed to small market teams making it to the big show.

I don’t even think it’s hugely about small market teams, it’s about the players.

Pacers have no famous stars and OKC aren’t that marketable (yet), if it was Bucks - Wolves (Giannis vs ANT) people would care more.

If Phoenix was in the finals, people would care more because of KD / Book.

That’s funny because the blunder have tanking to thank for building their teams. Lmao
Only two years of very bad records. Went 40-42 while Chet was out for the season. It was more so the PG trade that catapulted them to where they are and the stockpiling of picks. It’s not like they were the hornets or wizards.

How about when they sat SGAY for most of the 2nd half so they can get in the lottery? Lmao
