This is the problem with comparing different eras. We old dudes envision what our greats would do now, not taking into account the state of the game today. And the young kids think their heroes who train for today’s faster, more open, “hands off” game would survive the old rules. While also forgetting that their modern heroes wouldn’t have the level of training and conditioning (or steroids/PEDS for that matter) if they played back then. So it’s essentially a wash.

What I see plain as day though is that the older era of players were more comparable to hockey players. Where as today’s NBA looks like a bunch of soft soccer players with the amount of flopping and fakery going on to draw a whistle from the ref. It’s not gamesmanship, it’s just ghey.

That's a wrap for the Nuggets with Gordon out. What a shit way for a game 7 to unfold.
 
Just dropped my first sports bet of the year, 43 bucks to win 334 on a Nuggets-Leafs parlay. I won a nice poker tourney this morning and I think it would be really funny if both things happened. To be clear, I do not expect either thing to happen.

You got hosed imo. Should be a +1500

1) Gordon is out, so the odds of Westbrook or Strawther having a great game are slim to none, which is needed if the Nuggets are to advance.

2) It's the Leafs.

Gordon's rebounding will be missed, but OKC is primed for a choke. Containing SGA and Hartenstein is a pain in the ass, but we've seen it happen, sort of. Does Jokic have enough left in the tank? Maybe. As for the Leafs, it's a 50/50 game. I think they might manage to win like 4-1. This series has had a lot of ups and downs.
 
If Perc Gordon becomes a thing he deserves to be talked about amongst the GOATs. LMAO.
 
This is the hard part of watching the Nuggets, just ice cold.

Whatever happens, this series has been great.
