Playing poker at a casino.

Poker mainly just for fun. Tournaments. Just low stake buy ins. 10-50 dollars. Nothing huge.
I stopped playing poker at the tables. Too many crazy people, Ive been enjoying video porker and video keno on the game king machine.

I love this keno, I could go in there with 100 bucks and leave with a profit and also build up my points balance for free play and food credits for the next money on my players card

Some people are lucky like this dude he has gotten multiple jack pots on Cleo Keno, Ive never had a jackpot because I dont bet big mostly a dollar, but Ive had seven of seven or 6 outta 6 several times which pays 1 grand in the bonus for 7 and I think 850 dollars in the bonus for 6 of 6.

My best hand ever was playing with my buddies at home, nickle ante, back in the late 90's. One of my buddies had a full house, aces over kings, so he kept raising the pot. He didn't know I had 4 queens and the other ace. I won over five bucks just on that one hand, which doesn't sound like much but remember it was nickle ante.

Anyone else missing live poker? Fml.

I don't see something to be ashamed here actually. That is nice to do what you really want to do! And yes, I miss real poker very much, but because of that stupid pandemic, I only stay in house, usually just in bed, and play those damn stupid online poker on my iPhone. I have tried online casinos at some point, but I didn’t like it. Well, I made some money, that is true, but for me, it is kind of boring. Poker is like a whole different world! Anyway, if you want to spend your time like that you can access on 77betsg and make some money, or even have some fun, if you are that kind of human being. Wish you lucky stars!

I don't have any cool stories about playing poker, but I have a lot of cool stories from playing online casinos with my friends. I remember how once I got blocked on an online poker casino because it was my lucky day, seriously when I asked the administration why I had been banned they told me that. I wasn't upset because I was playing with the bonus money I got, so I didn't lose anything, but it was the most foolish argument I had ever got. After that, I started to play only on pkv games because there I had never had such problems. It's not a very funny story, but at least it's an interesting one.

i used to play on Full Tilt many years ago, got good so I started playing with real money
it was a learning experience

never done live playing, and its been many years since i played now

Come to Vegas amd start playing at locals casinos to get your feet wet and learn tricks of the trade. Remember you're only winning other player's money. Dont think WSOP at the get go. Start at the Orleans Casino poker room on Tropicana, steer clear of downtown Vegas as a newbie.

This is about what people who are not waiting for success say. You should never give up, despite all the problems. On the Internet, you can and even need to earn huge bucks. It's just easy. I also once thought of stopping, but taking all the will in my fist, I continued to look for easy ways to earn money. And you know, I found it! Now I have a house in Florida, where I live, and a summer cottage in Texas. And all in six months. you just need to find a good website where you can earn money. For me, this is a website with a casino. I withdraw money from there when I want. It's very simple.

Once in a tournament and I believe I finished in 6th place and won like 50 bucks after putting in 25 to play. Wasn't really worth my time at all since the casino profited off my stupidity.

I moved just over a year ago and they just reopened the Poker room in the casino a 15 minute walk from my condo so I have been going again pretty regularly. 1/3 and 2/5 NLH and some Omaha are dealt.

I decided to give my self a starting roll of $5k and see if I could knock the rust off and still play profitably in the 1/3. Starting off pretty bad and was down over first 6 sessions just over $3k but I did not feel i was playing bad, I was just running bad, and I know, having played enough poker that happens. Sure enough the running bad streak ended and it was more flat and I was taking home small profits each night. And now I have been running good in the last 4 sessions and have taken home well over a grand per night. One night was $2300 and I am up almost $5k so I think my game is mostly back.

I will start playing the 2/5 and move up to 5/10 (which they only play on weekends) when I feel ready.

I want to try and build the roll to about $50k so I know I can play at any level and withstand the swings without having to dip into my bank account.

Been there and done that. knowing how to play is one thing, being disciplined is another. Luck beats all at the end of the day when it comes to poker.

That’s not true at all.

Luck matters way more when you are playing against a lot of new or undisciplined players.

If you are an actual decent player runs of good luck and bad luck will even out over time and the quality of your play will decide if you are profitable or not.

The quality of your play comes down to discipline and skill. I used to play often for fun and that's it. I laugh at those who can play it for a living. It's a disgusting game, if you really think about it , and is still gambling no matter how you look at it. The giant pot that you took down from seats 3 and 4 is a good feeling and sense of accomplishment when you're on your way out of the casino. Those guys who you beat will have to go home and explain to their wives why their kids won't get new clothes and a vacation anytime soon. If you think about it, most of the times at the table, all you see are miserable people on a losing streak. It's kind of sad to me. That's why I could never play it for a living even though I've done well in the past.

Yes, what you describe is a sad existence.

And that is most players.

There are also people who play responsibly and players who are good and disciplined enough to do it the right way.

Playing cards for a living with a family is a rough way to go. But the guys who are good enough get the props from their peers for it.
