Social Pitbull Attack thread

You can get chased by dogs in a non-aggressive way. It's not that I'm trying to give you a hard time or anything, I know pitbulls are a problem at beaches.
No it was really clear what was going on , prior to that I had no issue with pit bulls

The owners knew too , they were scared shittless and got the fuck out of there in a real hurry, I wasn't even able to grab their license plate

Must've been terrifying.

Most likely they went or investigate her to see if she was a threat.

She reacted like most people when confronted by large intimidating dogs with fear. And they responded to that fear. This was because they were not properly trained or controlled.

His wife did the right thing and controlled the situation to prevent it from getting out of hand.

I love dogs but to protect myself and my dogs I will kill a dog if nessary. I always carry a gun if I'm walking my dogs. Well truth is I have a gun a good deal of the time anyway.

If your piss poor dog ownership causes me to have to kill your dog I'm going to do everything in my power to take every legal action I can against you for putting me in that situation.

Stop breeding them please.

In a 10 year period pits have killed 203 americans and there is believed to be 3-5 million in the USA.
So, you really want to apply this across the board? Anyone with worse numbers than these gets to be eradicated???

It was probably 15 years ago and it upset me just writing it down today

OMG I just gifted you some adult coloring books and crayons. You're welcome and Merry Christmas.

Not only that, but many people lie and refer to their pit bull mix as a Lab, because most homeowners insurance won’t insure you if you have a pit, and many apartment buildings won’t let you rent with a pit.

A pitbull-lab mix is not a pitbull nor a lab. Its a mutt.

oh!
That pic bugs me. Even under supervision that kid would get messed up beyond belief if just one of those currs decided it really wanted his lunch.

Always victim blame.....its funny seeing people act like pits are rationable and there is a reason for them snapping crazy. Its always the owner neglected them or made them crazy. Not that they are crazy by nature and can turn on anyone any moment
Yeah, there are a lot of other dog breeds, whose owners from time to time neglect the, but they don't go apeshit like Pitts and certain breeds.

Pitt supporters are stubborn and refuse to accept the writing on the wall. I have friends who defend this breed and Rotts no matter what. You just can't get through to them.

LOL yeah I'm such a pussy caring about the well-being of my wife.

See here's a big part of the problem , dipshitz like this guy owning pit bulls

Pit bulls account for 82% of dog related fatalities. Fuck em.

There is no frickin way a Lab is more dangerous than a Rott. I have a lab, and even if it goes nuts and bites, it simply can not do remotely close to the damage a Rott can. The reason Labs have high bite rate is because they are the most popular dog, so sheer numbers raise the chance of someone somewhere getting bit.

Well there are studies of bite force and Rotts and Pitts are at the top. They can bite harder so they can kill better.

And just LOL at people trying to say labs are a dangerous as Pitts. I've been around tons of dogs and by far Pitts were the most aggressive. My neighbors have a pittbull, and I heard a fight and looked out the window and watched it kill their other dog. It clamped down on the smaller dog's neck and shook it to oblivion. Fucking gross.

A friend of mine has a pit and she is a very sweet dog, but I would never want to have one. Even if the possibility of them snapping is very low it still isn't worth the risk. Pure bread dogs in general can be trouble if you have dirt bag breeders that don't pay attention to who they are breeding their dogs with. Inbred dogs tend to snap easier than mutts.

I know quite a few people with PBs that are great dogs. There’s millions of them out there that don’t cause any trouble whatsoever.

However on the flip side, I personally know 3 dogs (over the last 20 years) that tried to kill their owner and had to be put down, and all three were pits. Well, one was a pit/chow mix and the other two were beautiful purebred blues.

One of those blues belonged to a good friend of mine that has a big piece of property. I was over talking to him one day and the Pit was loose in the fenced in backyard barking its ass off at me. My friend had accidentally left the trash can next to the chainlink fence and the pit was able to use it to jump the fence.
The fucking savage ass dog comes flying full speed towards me and I jumped on the roof of my friends car faster than you could blink. 230 lbs of me caved in the roof of his car while the dog clawed up the passenger door trying to attack me. My friend apologized profusely and put the dog away and wasn’t worried about the car at all, he was just embarrassed the dog got loose.
Years later that same pit was fighting with another one of his dogs over a toy or some shit, and it turned on my friend when he tried to break up the fight.

He took it out back and shot it immediately afterwards.

Brilliant combo, mixing the terrier characteristics of a pit with the psychosis of a Chow. K9 russian roulette right there. Never trust a Chow.
