everything is speculation but it's an interesting and much needed shake up at this point. Jake Paul brings in viewers. Ngannou remains to be seen, but acquiring the greatest current HW champ is a huge feather in their cap. The real question is, how is UFC performing under ESPN's view? How does ESPN view PFL's performance? What is their current deal for both organizations? It would be more interesting if ESPN decided not to renew UFC's contract and went full force showing PFL to the masses. Probably won't happen considering UFC had their most successful year, but not sure how the deals are structured with PFL / UFC. If PFL can do just enough to maintain hype, and if Jake Paul / Ngannou can actually deliver, then we are looking at a different landscape for the foreseeable future. It really depends on the performances of these newly signed fighters. Time will tell. and Pride FC was the best of all time.

where is my desperation for the UFC to fail? lol. They just had their most successful year to date, that would be pretty stupid to think they are going to fail anytime soon. what I gave is speculation. you interpreted that as I want the UFC to fail, despite every other indicator saying otherwise. I'm saying if the ESPN decided to cut their ties with the UFC, then we could see a potential rise in PFL. Not I want the UFC to fail badly. come on dude. it is you who are the mental one.

I wish they were taking over but I doubt the UFC will allow it. Fair enough PFL signed the HW champ, but he's nearly 40 and isn't a huge draw. The UFC will be fine with Jones as their champ.

Everyone keeps talking about the pay at PFL but as long as I can remember, whenever a promotion tries to come out and rival the UFC for pay etc, they end up worse off or folding altogether.
