Ummmmm.... Pfizer is part of Operation Warp Speed. They will be paid billions by the Federal Government so Americans can have the vaccine for free. They will use the Operation Warp Speed distribution infrastructure to deliver the vaccines.

The Phrama Industry HATES TRUMP. Trump has been pushing for getting international best pricing for the U.S. Citizens thereby dropping drug prices for all of us here. They hate that. Trump is also forcing them to stop full foreign operations with cheap labor, so that U.S. Citizens are not dependent on the Chinese in times of crisis.

My reading of that was the project allocated 6B to be provided to a 3rd party in trust to manage and engage multiple companies for a combination of procurement contracts and R&D. Pfizer is saying they were only in agreement for procurement with the money to be provided subject an approval process.

Further the AP reports Pfizer self funded R&D, started months before Warp Speed was formed and has not been paid

Seems silly for Trump to seek credit for agreeing to pay for procurement with tax payer money, given that is the bare minimum for him to do.

yep, government puts aside money for purchase of vaccine during a pandemic, unclear whether cost is passed on to the public, despite claims of it being free by trump, he also said tests would be free..............they arent...
