You're right I stand corrected. Trump paid $1.95 billion up front to Pfizer for 600 million doses of the vaccine. $1.95 billion up front must have been a great aid to them.you literally made this up
no. they promised to buy that amount in the event that a viable vaccine was created. you absolute dipshit. You're right I stand corrected. Trump paid $1.95 billion up front to Pfizer for 600 million doses of the vaccine. $1.95 billion up front must have been a great aid to them.
also true...
some dickhead in the election thread claimed this as well, pfizer agreed to sell so many doses to the US if it worked out, they also agreed to sell to the UK, according to this logic boris johnson is justified in taking credit .no. they promised to buy that amount in the event that a viable vaccine was created. you absolute dipshit.
lol 100%. it's amazing how many people spew this nonsense, despite how easily-accessible this information is.some dickhead in the election thread claimed this as well, pfizer agreed to sell so many doses to the US if it worked out, they also agreed to sell to the UK, according to this logic boris johnson is justified in taking credit .
the vaccine was developed by two muslim doctors at a german company, the only thing pfizer did was partner up so they could scale up production and because they had an in on the drug licensing process in the USA.
anybody saying otherwise is a deluded twat grasping at straws cos the orange fucknuckle lost..
Remember 2009. I think it was around 6 months to get an h1n1 vaccine created and approved by the fda. Can’t remember any politician taking credit for the scientists work. How long does it normally take to get a drug FDA approval?
How long will it take pfizer to get their FDA approval?
If Those answers aren't the exact same then of course they benefited from policies enacted.
And
"As nations around the world race to lock up coronavirus vaccines even before they are ready, the Trump administration on Wednesday made one of the largest investments yet, announcing a nearly $2 billion contract with Pfizer and a German biotechnology company for 100 million doses by December."
Or
the company has a major agreement to sell at least 100 million doses of its vaccine to the federal government, and Pfizer acknowledged in a Monday statement to CNN that it is in fact "participating" in Operation Warp Speed through this deal. Also, at least some independent experts say the Trump administration deserves partial credit for Pfizer's progress.
Some. But more prevelant in the last few months was Trump constantly saying some of the pharma were very close to a working in the next few months vaccine while the left and CNN and MSNBC specifically sat berating the idea, saying it would take years to see a vaccine and Trump was full of shit. It's absolutely hilarious that earlier in the year, Trump's minions were bitching that this virus was a hoax by big pharma to cheat American's money, cause autism and implant a tracking chip to take away their freedom.
And now, suddenly Trump is a hero for funding Pfizer's vaccine research and should take credit for it.
The mental gymnastics is amazing.
These lefties seem to want to forget these parts of the news or ignore it outright. Its somewhat comical lolHow long does it normally take to get a drug FDA approval?
How long will it take pfizer to get their FDA approval?

"Not every deal, however, included that kind of up-front investment. “We have never taken any money from the US government, or from anyone,” Kathrin Jansen, a senior vice president and the head of vaccine research and development at Pfizer, told the New York Times. The $1.95 billion in its agreement will only be paid out when the government takes delivery of the vaccines, after they are authorized for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)."https://qz.com/1930404/what-we-dont-know-about-pfizers-operation-warp-speed-deal/
read and learn you business illiterate fucks.
operation warp speed. They only did this after Mike, Nicky Halley and others falsely claimed that Pfizer received money and support from the Government for developing vaccine.
Mike tweeted out that Pfizer achieve these results thanks to close public/private partnership with the Government. Nicky came on shorty later and thank President Trump for Pfizer success.
Pfizer had to respond because of all Trump supporters where tweeting that Trump had anything to do with their success.
Edit: Trump supporters: Trump put his lab coat on and performed the experiments for Pfizer lol

A world-wide pandemic crashing economies left right and centre, governments everywhere are trying to push for a speeding up of the process. As I said earlier it was developed in Germany by the head doctors of Turkish /German nationality, and Pfizer is merely a distribution partner in the North American and European markets. The fact that Trump has swing wildy from stating it is no big thing, to Democrat hoax, to it will just go away , and is now trying to claim credit, is just typical Trump.Slightly confused - even if Pfizer didn't get govt money for the vaccine they certainly got waivers to speed up the trials.
Dope post...Probably need a title change here.
And LOL at the posters who think OWS was just the government handing every pharma company suitcases full of cash.
PFE 100% was part of the program
