Social Peter Strzok back to the FBI

I don’t think so. This guy knew the investigation was a sham from the start. He knows because he started it.
Don't believe the hype. Same for Comey. What he described in his memos is exactly in line with Trump's character and actions to this point. And to think he did almost as much as the Russians to help get Trump elected.

What's dangerous is putting too much power in one man's hand. Especially when he's shown a willingness to shrug off oversight and bypass Congress altogether while constantly lying to the public.

No. And honestly who came up with this retarded idea that we should want an “independent” DOJ? It’s like people hear that on CNN and they think “yeah, that sounds good, independence is always good.” No. We want the judiciary to be independent, because it’s a separate branch of government. But the AG is a department in the executive branch. Why would the POTUS appoint an AG to act “independent” and basically go rogue with his own agenda? That’s stupid. You brought up separation of powers, and you’re basically talking about separating the an executive agency from the executive branch. Get that idea out of your head. It’s wrong.

Look man, we humored the Mueller investigation, we waited patiently, gave the guy a lot of time. It was a dud. Turned out to be completely baseless. That conversation is over. Anyone defending Strzok at this point just hates Trump

I think Strzok should have been fired for those texts but it's a stretch to create an entire "deep state" conspiracy that apparently even included Wray somehow. Anyone completely dismissing the validity of Mueller's investigation and his findings is allowing their love for Trump to effect their judgement. Trump ran an unethical campaign and as President has continued to disregard any check on his power. If he wants to watch TV all day and spend every weekend playing golf at his own clubs is one thing but assigning lobbyists to head departments that are meant to protect our country and our citizens so they can gut them for the benefit of big business and give his unqualified family members security clearances so they can bypass government agencies to make deals with foreign powers shouldn't be just business as usual.

"As much as the Russians" meaning a couple of Facebook ads?

The expression on Peter Strzok's face is known as "duping delight" or "dupers delight". It is the kind of expression made by a liar who has contempt for the person he is deceiving. He believes he is smarter and morally superior to the people questioning him and is taking pleasure in deceiving them.

Well he's probably correct with those assumptions.

Mueller found no substantive crime, and since there was never any evidence warranting the investigation, it’s clear the entire goal was to charge Trump with obstruction of justice. That’s an abuse of the criminal justice process, and those responsible should be dealt with accordingly.

I wouldn't doubt he's there based on his experience with current investigations. To portray that as hanging out is disingenuous.

It might just be filling others in on investigations that he was part of, but if the article is correct - then other agents find it unusual.

And its bad form to attack the articles author instead of the content.

The investigation was clearly warranted.

I agree with the basic premise og your post, but I dont find anything unethical about Trump's campaign - although I find some of his staffers to have been unethical.

Also, how many govt agency were being directed by a lobbyist or business insider under the Obama admin? Quite a few IIRC

True but we should acknowledge the actual news in articles and try to filter out the opinion or slant presented by the author.

The just isn't even close to true.

The Mueller investigation turned up many crimes, some of which are still being investigated, and plenty of his henchmen felt the law including his long time personal lawyer and his campaign manager. He uncovered clear attempts by the Russian state to infiltrate our networks, steal information and spread disinformation during our campaign cycle. Just because they didn't find Trump snapchatting Putin, doesn't mean no crimes were found and nothing of value was gained. It's pretty clear Trump himself is guilty of campaign finance violations and obstruction of justice there just isn't the political willpower to do anything about it.
