I was surprised that Merab was the underdog. After the Cejudo fight I thought Merab would crush him easily, but over the weeks Sherdog pointed out times in which Merab left his chin up too much on his feet and it left me too scared to push through and place a bet.
usually when the guy with less than wrestling skills fights, it hurts him. i didnt think sean would be able to do much and i dont know, i think it showed. it was a fight. o'mallley knows exactly what he needs to do. his coach is smart enough. i'm sure they're game planning. nothing but respsect to tim welch.
That's pretty much what I was gonna say, this just showed him as having absolutely no grappling, and you can't claim to be one of the best fighters ever if you can't stop a takedown.
