Social Pelosi’s house broken into, husband assaulted

There are 50-plus Walgreens locations in the city now. The ones that closed were not reporting a high amount of shoplifting so most people think the explanation is bullshit. But either way, you learn more about relative levels of crime in a place by looking at data than sensationalist videos. Surely you agree with that, right?
Yea data is a factor, what kind of data and how it correlates is important also. So you’re saying it’s a non issue all those business are closing stores because of crime ? Specifically the ruling of 800 or less isn’t a crime I think.

???

I think maybe you have the wrong idea about how rich she is? Lot of misinfo along those lines going around. Here's her place (the reddish brown one in the front):

Not like some kind of huge mansion.
Wouldn’t living there place her firmly in the top 1%? If she bought it today, at least.

Wrong party? Lol. Talk about projecting your biases on others. Same as thinking I'm implying only one possibility.

I just can't wrap my head around how someone had such easy access to this dude. My way of thinking is such a thing should be next to impossible and only be achievable by some 007 type of a character. If it was due to simple negligence then I'm simply blown away. As I said, that could be possible, but just doesn't compute.

maybe paul pelosi listed himself on backpage and he misgendered himself and catfished some dude?

you hear about it every now and then when someones looking to hook up with an escort or prostitute and they find out that they've got a dick. often it tends to go violent as the person overreacts to the shame they are feeling after they fallen for a trap. ive read some articles and even seen some episodes of disorderly conduct and other police shows where some dude assaults a hooker after finding out that its a dude.

not trying to suggest thats whats going on here. i dont know about paul pelosi having a gay lover. but i know if i was married to nancy pelosi i would start to question my own sexuality too.

You said Walgreens closed 5 of its more than 50 locations in the city because of crime, and I said the claim is dubious, and those locations have not reported a high level of crime. And, no, all shoplifting is a crime. It was a misdemeanor under $950 before that got changed.

If people make moronic predictions with certainty in the beginning before all the info comes out I think its perfectly fair and good to rub their noses in it once they've been proven wrong. I remember the Quebec mosque shooting being a good example, lots of morons were pushing the narrative that the shooter couldn't be white because otherwise they would've released his name and photo immediately and therefore it had to have been a Muslim perpetrator only for the suspect to have been a white nationalist in the end. Rebel Media ran with the original claims of Muslim suspects for weeks after that, trying to push some CT. Actors like that should be shamed.

If those same actors don’t jump to conclusions in other threads then sure. It would be heathy for the majority to say let’s wait for the details and even when we get the details, it doesn’t say really anything definitely about the different sides of American politics. Actually, I’m not so sure now because what that does is somewhat vindicate them if they guess early and are right. My point is the guessing and outcome of the guessing has an underlying theme to it that it successful overlaps with the mainstream of the other side when it doesn’t so I don’t even want much risk/ reward applied to the guessing to begin with. You can guess right and then not understand how it was still not a good practice to do.

So you are refuting the article with what substance ?

i dont know why it should matter which political side somebody falls in when they break into some 82 year old mans home and bludgeon him with a hammer

but as usual, the right needs to know what side of the political spectrum the guy is on so that they know whether or not they should support law and order or even condemn such a despicable act.

Sure. But it's not some kind of Bond villain mansion. Seven out of 10 houses in the city are worth more than a million bucks. Her place doesn't really stand out in a major way.

Exactly. The level is low compared to the '70s but the trend is really bad. I also think you're seeing more high-level involvement, like Trump himself encouraging election CTs, and a lot of elected officials backing it. Not aware of that happening during the '70s (though correct me if there was something similar then).

I don’t know enough about the period to comment so the absence of me knowing an example doesn’t say much. But yea, I wouldn’t say we are so much in a spot where leaders are doing it (yet) but where it becomes a part of the political game that I don’t understand. Like it somehow becomes uncomfortable for the other side to condemn it or some online even okay the idea of it. I see that far more than I’d like from people I find to be educated and reasonable which worries me. But then again, it’s the internet and people are more loose with their language I suppose.

apparently this is the guys blog website and he is the admin as well as pretty much the only one who posts on it. at least what some news outlets have been referring to. you can see this piece of work for yourselves. this dudes definately got some issues. really hates the jews. simping for alex jones. posting a whole lotta shit about the great reset, antivaxx, and even the pizzagate shit. all kinds of juicy stuff that a certain group of conspiracists tend to indulge in

The article doesn't answer the question that we're looking at. No one is claiming zero crime. My claim is that the data is a better guide to the amount of crime than whatever alternative you are proposing (gut feeling? Anything else?). I added context for Walgreens' claim, too. Specifically, they have more than 50 locations in the city currently. They closed five, but those five had not reported a large amount of theft. Seems more likely that they're just oversaturated, no? The city is only 47 square miles.

Looks like they caught the guy. Lets see if he gets the same "cashless bail" treatment that most get in California.
Can you show me other home invasions resulting in this "cashless bail"?

I'm guessing not.

Did FBI visit Rand Paul’s neighbor ?

A rainbow flag! Classic MAGA decoration.

I dunno, maybe he does? That doesn't make him impervious. Rushdie was very famously under threat and has had a whole team guarding him and some guy still got him.

In public. He didn't waltz into his house in his underwear. And this homeless prostitute didn't even bring a weapon, he took the hammer when he was already inside.

Why would you ever admit to that
You spend enough time on the internet, you start thinking the real world gives a shit about what you're doing there. <{chips}>

Lesson learned.

*insert It's still real to me.gif*

Thus I repeat for the millionth time, anecdotes aren't worth a fuck.

Yep. One of the most common blindspots here. I think most people would acknowledge that, but then when it comes to a specific instance of the data not lining up with their prejudices or it just being hard to get a handle on an issue, a shocking number of people revert to just "here's a picture that proves the frequency of X is >Y% (where Y != 0)."

Again, this comment itself is trying to politicize what I’m against. I’m pretty certain in the past I’ve seen left posters guessing white supremacist before details showed up. The point to me is the game of that shouldn’t matter. Guessing right or not doesn’t matter. The ideology of a crazy person doesn’t map over either of the two parties of the US so the main point when this happens should just be condemning the violence and either discussion how to prevent it in the future or simply move on.

-I wish the best for Pelosis husband and hope they improve the security for their family going forward
-I do not apply the beliefs of this crazy guy to any of the posters here unless they endorse it like whatever that jackasses name was a page or two back

Same approach with the Kavanaugh and softball house rep events.

Leftists: DISCRIMINATING AGAINST AND SILENCING CONSERVATIVES DOESN'T EXIST!

Leftists after Musk buys Twitter: NOT BEING ABLE TO SILENCE CONSERVATIVES IS A THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY!

Lol, you are just making shit up at this point, kiddo.
Conservatives are a bunch of perpetually triggered beta cucks with a prosecution complex. No one would "silence" them if they didn't continuously break the rules of the platforms they were using. Have a fucking cry.
