PED'S or not, only people losing out are the fans.

I'd rather grossly overestimate something like that then continue to have that risk taken. Better safe than sorry.
What risk? Which study proves this risk? If I am playing devils advocate here… These guys are going into an arena where another guy wants to hurt him…

If he cannot train adequately, he 'RISK' getting hurt. If he is injured, and cannot take the supplements to recover properly he 'RISKS' getting hurt…

So far, we didn't get to see

Jones vs DC 2
Jones could be suspended for 2 years.
missed out on Chael vs Wanderlei
Chael would still be fighting in the UFC
Wanderlei would still be fighting in the UFC.
Cro Crop would stll be fighting in the UFC (RIZIN are under no obligation to honour his suspension.
Lesner could be suspended (essentially ending his career)
Nick Diaz would still be fighting in the UFC
Frank Mir would still be fighting in the UFC
Yoel Romero would still be fighting
Chad Mendez would still be fighting
BJ Penn would have made his return (banned IV)

Regardless, it's getting pretty annoying now.
Bones and others are gonna ng to miss out on 2 years of income, so it's more than just us fans losing out.

tell it to hunto. he lost the fight and got hurt pretty badly due to cheating

That's kind of a really selfish way to look at things, but I guess that is understandable. I would say personally I'd feel pretty low if a fighter were to get hurt by another fighter who was using PEDs. In that sense I am not losing out. I have at least a better peace of mind nowadays that what I'm watching is closer to natural, and thus less dangerous.
If 350 lb roided out Bob Sapp couldn't seriously injure any of the 150lb Japanese guys he murdered under PRIDE rules, fighters of today will be just fine.

Pride was the best. No drug testing is actually more fair. Also, can't recall fighters dying from PEDs there as well.

I think more importantly, it's absolute proof that PEDs does not result in fighter death as it is so often predicted when discussing the evils of PEDs.

Pride had PEDs combined with far more dangerous rules like soccer kicks and head slams. Oh and far more mismatch freakshows too.

Exactly, far more dangerous than PEDs are incompetent refs and extreme weight cutting.

We were losing out before though far more
We get robbed outta seeing who the better fighter really was
Someone in mma using peds for me is the same as those dochebags who like sucker punching random people and bragging how they 'kicked their asses'

The only people that benefit fem PED's are USADA… An organisation that earn millions out of tell athletes in sports they know nothing about, what they can and cannot take.

It's people like you that just don't get it. These are fights and the damage sustained in them could cause long term difficulties in somebodies life, allowing fighters to juice only increases the chance of significant injury or death. If you wanted to advocate the use of some steroids or HGH in a controlled and non abusing fashion for injuries to heal i could understand that, but that's not what's happening for the most part. These guys are taking roids/HGH to help them train more and to increase how much muscle they can put on, if they were using them to heal and on specific areas then they couldn't be working out so much that the gain such a massive advantage.

It also seriously harms the athletic integrity of the sport, i personally want to see the best athletes and martial artists compete for the belts, not the guys with the most money or best connections to get the best drugs. This should be treated as a sport not a fucking freak show. Having pro fighters roid raging on illegal drugs and buying them via the black market and supporting criminal organizations is a significant problem for society. Many of these drugs are illegal and can often cause serious mental issues. Did it ever occur to you that some of the best guys don't want to do drugs that can cause long term complications? Do you want another War Machine or another Chris Benoit? Do you think they want to end up like Randleman and get a fucked immune system or Kimbo and have a fucked heart? Do you think they want to suffer even more brain damage for the now even harder shots they'll be taking? Do you really think they should they be forced to sacrifice their health and well being even more than they already do just to compete so the scum bags of MMA don't get themselves suspended?

Get real and hold these guys accountable, they're choosing to do drugs and in many cases break the law. They know the rules and as a professional athlete it shouldn't be too much to expect them to act professional and not break the rules and cheat. I can't cheat at my job, why should they be able to? The rules are the rules, even if you think they're dumb that doesn't entitle you to break them it means you ought to fight to get them changed. The whole argument you're making is that you don't think these grown ass men should have to be responsible for their actions, and it's ridiculous. You want to change the rules so morons, the lowest fucking denominators in the sport, can't fuck up. The rules aren't robbing us of these fights the fucking idiots breaking the clearly established rules because they're cowards and feel the need to cheat are the ones robbing us.

Also don't pretend that Diaz got busted for a PED, he didn't. Banning dope or any other recreational drug is fucking stupid. I don't feel bad for him but i can't make anywhere near the argument against him that i could for a cheater. He's fucking up still but he isn't cheating and he isn't causing nearly the kinds of problems for society these other guys are, the worst thing he's guilt of is unprofessionalism. I want to change that rule too but its not the same thing at all.

Two wrongs don't make a right. The reffing and weight cutting is a problem but that doesn't mean we should ignore PED's and the issues they bring as well.

USADA know nothing about the sport of MMA. If people weren't so hung up on this superman complex, sporting organisations wouldn't have to pay millions to drug testing agencies, and they could spend the money on increasing fighter pay, or something far more productive than a company filled with a bunch of nerds playing god with peoples careers...
they are enforcing the rules, they arent playing god lol ....the people that are breaking the rules are doing it to themselves....dont break the fucking rules and you dont have a problem....

i'm happy to keep losing out

keep going usada@@

bunch of revisionists up in here

USADA isnt ruining shit....its these cheaters that think they can get away with breaking the rules because there is a precedent of cheating...eventually the buck stops and we're at that point now....

if a guy had metal plates in his hand you guys would be ok with him competing?
you ok with groin shots too? eye gouges? holding the fence whenever? where does it stop??youre ok with soccer kicks and knees to grounded opponents right now even the rules say theyre not allowed? aww hell with it...why have weight classes at all because who cares about the rules? why listen to the ref...the ref should have to physically be able to stop the fighters or they dont have to stop because lolrules... lol

the rules say no PEDs so...guess what.....no fucking PEDs, get rid of the idiots that cant stop cheating and good riddance to them...

people complaining that they are being robbed of fights/entertainment ...so what?? we have been robbed of fights too that didnt happen for various other reasons and we will be robbed of more in the future for those reasons too, it happens....after 2-3 generations later of fighters no one is going to care that Wand never fought Chael...hell ...now theres not that many people that care lol

again... NOT USADA's fault, USADA didnt make these people cheat, if you tools are going to go around spouting off about wah wah the world isnt fair...at least point fingers in the right direction

They created the rules lol

The problem with this entire argument is that fighters have been using PEDs with impunity in this sport since it`s inception, and have been doing so until the present. That`s 23 years of drug addled MMA.

This isn`t a case of this sport being pure and then this small sample of fighters taking PEDs to improve themselves. It literally started at the beginning, and never stopped.
