There are sadly more tigers in the US than there are in the wild. Most of them are in Texas.
 
FYI, Florida is a kill on sight for invasive species. They have a list of species that you are legally obligated to kill if you ever capture one. Like the Burmese python. It's illegal to transfer, own, or release. So if you pick one up you have to kill it.

At least I’ve got a chance this guy is telling the the truth; I know for a fact the government is chock full of lying shitty assholes. I’ll take my chances with this guy. Secondly, it’s none of the government’s business if someone wants to keep a squirrel as a pet. Holy shit, how did we become a society that has to ask permission to wipe our asses?!

You must've forgotten about that time humans utilized all manner of wild cat to breed into domesticated versions we have today. Or that we literally made dogs from a handful of wild ancestors.

I mean I get it, there are lines somewhere. Just not sure you're in any position to make it, lol.

But we aren't talking bobcats or dangerous animals at all. Nor are we talking endangered ones.

Taking it from him and dropping it off at a wildlife rescue would have been more humane. But he is still a fucking idiot for advertising that he was keeping an illegal animal. He should have been the one doing that. The people who took it from him were probably just following protocol. Thousands of cats and dogs get killed every year, so there shouldnt be any surprise. Just to put things in perspective. The government is constantly killing animals, an individual instance isn't that unique.

Again, you weren't even alive for that. Stick to the here and now. These laws exist for a reason. Arguing that interfering with the local wildlife and disobeying laws because we did shit over 100 years ago isn't a compelling argument.
