For his size this isn’t that impressive. It’s harder with his long arms but it’s nothing crazy imo… not that fighters really need to bench a lot.
You mean, that's what we all here use to warm up.Looks like 295lbs, it's what I use to warm up.
No spotter.https://www.instagram.com/stories/sergei__pavlovich/3167032642130148140/

How much is Pavlovich lifting on the bench press?

And not one rep was done that day.
Also it appears to be 295, but not totally certain.
We've learned time and time again that bench press stats don't win fights. Yet for some reason men are obsessed with bench press. For his size this isn’t that impressive. It’s harder with his long arms but it’s nothing crazy imo… not that fighters really need to bench a lot.
You're understating the amount.( (3x45) +15)×2, add 45 for the bar.Looks like 295lbs, it's what I use to warm up.
One thing I can guarantee, those ain't 45 lbs plates.https://www.instagram.com/stories/sergei__pavlovich/3167032642130148140/

Bench press directly correlates to the ability of caving said head in. Add in the skill of proper shot placement ...We've learned time and time again that bench press stats don't win fights. Yet for some reason men are obsessed with bench press.
Plenty people can bench more than him, but very few of them would even be competitive in an actual fight.
Bench press is not more Alpha than having the ability to cave another man's head in with your bare fists.
Could be doing a Spoto Press as well. Excellent accessory lift to make your bench bigger. You're supposed to stop 3-4 inch off the chest and it helps build strength off the chestLmao the rep is fine. You don’t always need to smash the weight against your chest for it to count.
Yeah you got college football players lifting 225lbs like 40+ times. Pav should be doing 20 reps at 295.I don't think that's 340, but it's hard to say I'm not familiar with the bumper plates he's using and can't read them.
IF the two biggest on each side are 45lbs, those and the bar would be 225lbs. The four smaller plates aren't taking that to 340, so I'm thinking 295 as well.
Respectable, more than 95% of the species, but honestly nothing to phone home about for a HW that lifts.
Plus 2.5 each for the clamps = 300lbsSo how big do you think the plates are? Looks like 4 45s, 2 25s and 2 10s
Just imagine if Pav trained properly and dedicated more time to bench press?Bench press directly correlates to the ability of caving said head in. Add in the skill of proper shot placement ...
Guys doing that many reps at 225 are typically still way heavier than Pav. That’s lineman reps normallyYeah you got college football players lifting 225lbs like 40+ times. Pav should be doing 20 reps at 295.
Appears to be 3 big plates on each side(6x45), one big skinny on each(15x2), one small on each(5x2) plus bar and cuffs(45+5) ... about 360 (maybe 380 if both big skinny are 25)I don't think that's 340, but it's hard to say I'm not familiar with the bumper plates he's using and can't read them.
