This is why we love Bobby Knuckles. He's not scared of anyone. 2 life shortening fights with Romero, and now facing pretty boy Costa despite already being deserving of a title shot. I agree with others, Costa should fight Vettori or Killa Gorilla instead of Whitaker.

He's not vacating until after the Jan fight at the earliest and that's predicated on him winninng the LHW belt. Should he beat Jan then decide his next fight will be at LHW instead of MW he should thenb be stripped of the MW belt. If he loses to Jan I imagine he'd be back at MW.

If he loses to Jan then this is Izzy mistake no one told him to move up and his actual division is MW

I don't like to criticize people here for their join date and belt colour but damn man calling Hermansson a can truly is a newb white belt comment.

I'd say its all good. Rob has belief in his own abilities. He knows Adesanya is always going to be a tough fight. He also knows how good Adesanya is, he completely expects him to go up and and win then come back to Middleweight to defend. Full live gate bonus is worth the wait for as its a easy 70 000 people ( depending on stadium in nz / aus) . And before you say covid, that's never happening. We already had a 50k crowd live sporting event. No spike in our state.

Both Israel and rob aren't stupid. And both have almost a unshakeable belief in their ability. ( its why when whittaker lost he went till and cannonier). Adesanya winning the lhw belt just adds more shine to their eventual rematch.

Costa has nothing for rob unless he gets a lucky shot in. Whittaker ate heavy lead leg kicks from cannonier. Never switched stance Never stopped his bounce stance.

Saying they both were dominated by Israel is correct. There's a major difference tho, one guy ( rob ) threw himself into the fire. Got caught. And still threw himself back in there and got caught again.. one ( Costa) was terrified and it literally wasn't a fight.

I'm fine for the fight. But robs taken out 2 top 5s since his loss.. Costa spent months crying. He doesn't deserve whittaker let alone another title shot honestly but ufc going to ufc..

Whittaker vs Vettori would be fun tho, whatever Rob wants imo.
