What is the status of his whistling vagina elbow. That shit looked like he might need a skin graft later.
He claims the UFC hasn't sent it to him yet. But he does think the fight will happen. Says he's not crazy about fighting in Anaheim due to the high taxes.
Booking him for a fight in California is just asking for trouble. California monitors how much weight a fighter puts on after weigh-ins and if its more than 15% above the contracted weight, then they can't fight. And then there's the rigid drug testing done by the state. Maybe the UFC is setting him up to fail.
He already went over their rehydration limit when he fought there against Yoel. Not sure why they've booked him there this time. Maybe it will become an issue when it finally does get signed and made official. Would be very on brand if the fight falls apart like that. The weight thing isn't exactly true, they will still allow him to fight but they will recommend he change weight classes and potentially could refuse to allow him to compete at that weight in a future fight.
Interesting. Let's see if CSAC approves him. If their weight cutting measures have any teeth they wont.He already went over their rehydration limit when he fought there against Yoel. Their rules are a bit vague. If a fighter can convince them they've lost weight they will approve them. It was four and a half years ago so they may give him another chance.Interesting. Let's see if CSAC approves him. If their weight cutting measures have any teeth they wont.
Imo every commission should be doing what California is doing. This would fix the weight cutting issue for good. It's not hard to fix, the commissions just have to want to.
