Must be really sad to be a Gus fan. His best accomplishments are almost beating Jones and almost beating DC.
 
No top 5 win means no title shot.

Run back Rumble cs Glover if Tex wants a titleshot.
 
DC has been pretty active and wants the next challenge. Texeira has hopefully taken no damage and Gus has just entered rehab. Why wait?

Uhh...

Gus BARELY fights 1x a year. He will be out over a year before he comes back and he lost 2 of his last 4, 3 of his last 6. Those losses were very competitive, but is it too much to ask a guy to actually fight 2x in the same year before giving him a shot?

I agree he is the biggest challenge available (w possible exception of ooz who is next) to DC with Jones out but he hasn't exactly earned a shot. (And his last shot came off a brutal first round KO loss)

Let's see Gus stay healthy first, then we can talk title shot imo.

Valid point but I'd much rather see a competitive fight in Gus/DC than seeing Glover get steemed roll. He looked really bad tonight on the feet.

No way Glover is leap frogging Gus, who absolutely beat the shit out of him.
 
Poor DC...first JBJ makes him a paper champ, then does it again, then there was "THUG ROSE!!! THUG ROSE!!!" Then he tells Glover that he'll fight him...ok, so yeah, the "THUG ROSE" was the only annoying part.

DC actually said that he didn't want to fight gus again and that it was the worst fight of his life or something. so yeah the guy that he struggled to beat
 
Well he did beat Gus & Rumble, and Jon Jones back in hiding, so who the fuck else after Volkan?
