Yeah it's always the grazing or glancing shots that you don't think do anything significant but with the speed of the punch, the angle of the head when the hit connects, it can be devastating. I had a cousin who hit me with a glancing knee when we weren't even sparring all that hard in the first place and the knee was literally a glancing knee that could've hit me WAY harder if my cousin wished to throw it hard, but it was thrown with hardly any force behind it, the side hit my hairline and before I can even ask what's wrong, he says oh shit and I feel warm blood just pouring down my face.
