Infamous and legendary trainer. Very interesting character. Knew his stuff and was still highly sought after by top pros, even after his ban. He had a lot of dirty old school tricks in his bag. From spiking water bottles with Albutorol pills. To loading fighters gloves with plaster wraps. When he lost has license and could not corner his fighters he would have to get a ticket as a spectator bought for him in his contract. He would then scalp the ticket and go to a bar and watch the fight. Hahahaha. Typical street hustler.
This documentary is a must watch as a boxing fan.
In the end its a very dissatisfying watch.
Resto is a dullard, used by both Panama Lewis, and the makers of this documentary. When he finally "confronts" Panama,he isnt able to spit it out,nor look him in the eye, which shows the kind of control Panama still had over him, which after all this time,is fuckin disgusting to watch. Resto's family mostly think hes a piece of shit, and its heartbrekaing when he has to admit to his mother and sister, that he actually did throw the fight, even though theyve been sticking up for him all these years.
So fuck Resto, anything he admitted,he was probably coerced with more money from the director, and a huge fuck you to Panama Lewis, who is basically pure evil.
