Pain killers during training?.

I've had some of my best workouts while high as a kite. Just as long as you're not nodding out during a PR squat...

I have also felt this....hell when I am buzzed I can lift prob 10% to 15% more weight. However, my reaction time goes to shit so I don't do jits with them in my system.
 
Let's see...

I am 47 years old, train MMA 3 times a week, lift heavy 3 times a week, do HIIT 3 times a week, have a degenerative disk condition, arthritis in both knees and one toe...etc......etc...
