it was one fight as opposed to a career built on catch weights, fighting bigger glorified club fighters, or old men.

it was decent power but speed,conditioning and combos that were his big strength. He did not have big welterweight power. He used oscar for a punching bag for 8 rounds and only got a corner stoppage.

Ask yourself what quartey, vargas, tito, or mosley would have done if they had hit oscar as much.

Manny has a better resume; no comparison. He is way more talented too. I just feel like there comes a breaking point, a point where skill cannot overcome size. I think Canelo is too big for Manny.
 
IMO, Pac can beat Canelo, as long as he isn't being careless (why he lost vs Marquez) and is motivated (too many distractions; politics, showbiz... NBA game before Bradley fight smh).

Pacquiao didn't get smashed out by Marquez because he got careless, he was fighting exactly how he always did but his reflexes and speed are finally beginning to fail him. It wasn't like Marquez finally figured out how to time that feint after four fights, Pacquiao just couldn't dart in and slip the counter as quickly as he used to be able to.

Fighters like Pacquiao won't be able to outlast the clock like Hopkins and Mayweather and that's why Alvarez would beat him if they fought now. However, even with the weight disparity the Pacquiao from a few years ago that demolished Cotto and Margarito and completely shut down Clottey would knock Alvarez out.

Yeah Pacquiao has too much speed for Canelo. Pacquiao would beat Canelo the same way he did to Cotto.

Who has Pac KO'd at 147... This fight at min. takes place at 152... probably 154.
