News Ozzy has passed.

One of my all time favorite childhood memories is watching the Road Warriors rush the ring to the opening strains of Iron Man and beat the dog mess out of whatever poor schlubs was in the ring waiting for them so thanks, Ozzy, for being a part of that awesome entrance every week

If you're a wrassling fan you should like this Jericho's whole roast is hilarious but this ending bit cracks me the fuck up every time. <lol>

Really sad he's gone, but after their last show it looked like it might've been soon, he was struggling and looked rough but he still went out there to rock the fuck out one more time. RIP to a legend. If the afterlife does exist, then hopefully he's rocking out with Lemmy and Randy.

So how did he die? I read something about him considering assisted suicide. Did he go through with that?

Ozzy interview from 81 where he talks about the time he wondered how sprinklers worked in a hotel, so he decided to test it...

His health had been declining for some years now. Had spinal surgery and also Parkinsons. So "natural" causes if you can use that term in regards to Ozzy

I am really bummed about this. A huge part of my music catalog to this day. I am a fan of a lot of his 90s stuff as well. Even his latest stuff had moments.

My Ozzy memories:
1. Buying Randy Rhoads Tribute in 1987 and wearing it out for a decade.
2. Going to my Jr Prom in 88/89 and playing Ultimate Sin album in the Limo while all the couples were making out lol.
3. Renting a PPV of an Ozzy concert, first time I saw Zakk Wylde. Had all my buddies over and one parent wouldn't allow my friend because she thought it was "devil music". 87/or 88.
4. Ozzfest 1997 at Giants Stadium. Saw Patera, Type O Negative, Marilyn Manson, Sabbath and Ozzy. To this day one of the best experiences ever.

And my best memory:
In 1886 Ozzy played Nassau Coliseum. Me and two friends all lied about sleeping over a friends house. We went to the show hoping to get tickets which we never did. We hung out in the parking lot with our bikes locked to a fence. Saw crazy shit--drugs, tits, impromptu cover bands, amazing experience. We walk over to the Mariott after which was in the same lot. We steal a complimentary bottle of wine off a table and get caught by security. Ozzy walks through with his crew and the place went nuts giving us a distraction. We ran out screaming "Ozzy rules!".

RIP Ozzy

He a one of a kind. I didn't listen to his music. Thought it strange that he bit off the head of a bat. But he had a big impact on music for many.
