OT: Cocaine is the strongest PED on the planet

There is almost endless information on drugs, some is accurate and some is bullshit.

But even if he got popped a month before the fight, effects of drugs can linger for a long time, positive or negative.

Ever seen a hard steroid user years after they go off the juice? Their muscles never shrink down to their normal size. Some bodybuilders refer to this as "left overs".

That's just one example; but I was making a point that some drugs have long term effects.

Far from it.

Regardless of whether he tested positive of fight night or not which I dont believe they have released the results to the post fight tests yet... this could be seen as performance in enhancing during training camp which of course is just as crucial as the fight itself.

This. Jon Jones tested positive for a small dose of cocaine. It would be rare for jon to go out on a Thursday night and take a small dose of cocaine and party when he has the biggest fight of his life in 4 weeks. and according to his instagram, he was training on december 4th

how do you not know he was doing cocaine up until the fight? are any of you psychic?. once a user then always a user. he is a cheat

He passed a bunch of other random drug tests. That's how.

And once a user always a user? Are you a troll, a sheltered soccer mom or just a moron?

End of thread.

No, not really. Do they test them the day of the fight? If not, maybe he would have failed that one too. Plus coke is out of your system in less than 24 hours if you sweat a lot (kind of like they all do while trying to make weight for example).

According to Jennings-Abrams, the foremost authority on cocaine and cocaine production, cocaine has the ability to improve breathing capacity by up to 100%, increase isometric pressure 5x, and make folks stronger. It also better flushes out the sweat by expanding the skins pores. With these benefits, a fighter can land better punches and replenish. What are your thoughts on this?

Interesting stats. Once a fighter tests positive before a fight this thread will become relevant.

Was he tested after dec 4? Because you can't fail a test that isn't administered.

Yes. NSAC tested him randomly twice before the fight after his failed test on the 4th and immediately after.

/thread

he wasn't on coke during the fight so these stats mean absolutely nothing whatsoever.

dude its sherdog. i wouldn't be surprised if he is, the general level of intelligence on here isn't very high

he isn't in deep shit whatsoever, he did absolutely nothing wrong or against the rules.

do you honestly think he did coke so he could train harder? if so find the nearest bridge and jump.

stop making sense!! ITS A PED BRO, YOU GET ENERGY

he didn't have a big fight coming up or anything. and he passed another test a few days later so your conspiracy theory is inaccurate.

mental weakness has something to do with fighting...vices do not. try again

he passed another drug test days after the one he failed. sorry to burst your bubble :(

and doing coke isn't cheating either. nice try though :(

did you just compare epo and coke? time to get off sherdog

lol you seem pretty upset. Don't worry bro Jones being a drug abuser doesn't actually affect your life in any meaningful way

So for the people who are saying he was tested dec 4th - if he is checking into rehab, he obviously has a problem which means he does it often . If he can't stop himself from doing it and needs help , it's a good bet he did it the day of the fight .

Yes.

And coke alters your brain chemistry where you lose empathy and lose ability to feel pain permanently. So the coke might be the reason he became mentally stronger.

Sorry JJ fans your idol is a chronic and a cheat.

The real /thread, lol. Unless all the rehab news is just damage control, it's possible Jon was sniffin' right before the fight. Either way it is bad for MMA. Whether or not it was a factor in the fight, it draws attention away from a good fight and puts it on fighter's behavior outside the cage. The whole thing is a big WTF.

It is ridiculous to think one could train intensely coked up. If you want to fight for like 5 minutes, then yeah. It may work and be safe.

STOOOOP presenting facts!!

idiots on here wanna beleive coke helped jones... when in reality coke is a fkd up drug that will destroy your body and mind.

i honestly think jones barely ever touches coke ever... if he was a regular user that would make his victory over cormier even more impressive
