There’s that risk anytime someone fights Conor at 145-155. However, when was the last time Conor landed a big left that knocked someone down? Haven’t seen that in a long time. He wasn’t able to do it to Dustin, Khabib, Mayweather, etc. Been years since we’ve seen Conor’s left hand win him a fight. I think Islam easily avoids it, takes Conor down, and buries him like Khabib did.

I don't see him re-signing with the UFC for multiple reasons, including the likelihood that he doesn't win again. MMA can be brutal for fighters on the decline who stick around too long. Conor's "sell by" date is already passing by.
